This spacious five-bedroom, 5 en-suite detached villa features a pool, table tennis, Wi-Fi, and International TV channels. The kitchen is fully equipped, including 2 fridges, a washer, a freezer, a dishwasher, and a bar area.
The gardens are beautifully landscaped and incorporate a children's play area. There is also a full-size table tennis table. The sunbathing area has a barbecue, sun loungers, seating and an outdoor shower.
Casa Valhalla is ideally located to explore the Algarve. It is only a few minutes' drive from the beautiful Carvoeiro village and local beaches. There are attractions and restaurants to suit all generations and tastes. Boat trips, dolphin watching, fishing, Golf, and Water parks are all just a short distance away. Alternatively, you can relax by the pool or in the well-manicured garden. Casa Valhalla is a unique opportunity to enjoy a family holiday, ideal for all generations.
It is a beautifully decorated villa with a south-facing pool set in tranquil gardens. The master bedroom features a Double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The guest master has a queen-size bed with an ensuite.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 come with two single beds and ensuite shower rooms. Bedroom 5 also has twin beds and an ensuite.
The large, fully equipped kitchen overlooks the pool garden. It includes a bar area—an excellent entertainment space with an additional fridge, sink, and a TV that features Portuguese channels, Netflix, and YouTube. The open-plan lounge boasts ample seating, International TV channels, and a sound system. The dining area also has pool and garden views and comfortably seats 10.
There is a chill-out area on the first floor where you can sit in the shaded space and read or enjoy a quiet drink.
We have a wonderful house manager who will greet you all on arrival and will show you around.

Important Notes & Booking Advice
• Availability enquiry: We want to ensure our home is the perfect fit for your group. Please message us to check that we can accommodate your specific dates and requirements before sending a formal booking request. When sending booking requests, we understand that you have read the advert in full and know that the Pool Heating, Hot Tub and Beer Kegs are OPTIONAL EXTRAS. Hot Tub comfortably seats 4 people.
• Peak Season Stays: During our peak weeks, we typically only accept full-week bookings with a Thursday-to-Thursday changeover.
• Coordinating Your Travels: Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. As we often have back-to-back bookings, we are unable to offer early arrivals or late departures. Please note these times when booking your flights.
• No Smoking Policy: We maintain a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy inside the villa. Guests are welcome to smoke outdoors, and ashtrays are provided.
• Travel Insurance: For your protection, we strongly advise all guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
• Linen Care: To keep our linens unmarked, we kindly ask that guests avoid using P20 or "All Day" sun lotions, as these cause permanent staining on linen and furniture.
• Restrictions: Our Villa is located in a residential area, and for this reason, we are a family-oriented property and do not accept young groups, parties, or celebration events.
• In and around Carvoeiro and along the length of the Algarve, the landscape is always evolving, with ongoing development in different areas from time to time. As a result, there may be occasional associated activity in the surrounding areas.
• Pets are not permitted due to severe family allergies, and the fireplace is for decorative use only.
• Cleaning fees and the local Lagoa tourist tax are already included in your quote.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
Booking & Occupancy
• Guest Registration: In accordance with local licensing laws, we require the full names and passport copies of all guests once booked.
• Authorised Guests Only: Only guests named on the official booking are permitted to stay/visit the villa.
• Confirmation First: Please do not book flights until we have officially confirmed your reservation.
Neighbourhood & Conduct
• Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8.00 AM. Casa Valhalla is located in a residential area (not a holiday complex); please respect our neighbours.
• No Parties: Parties are strictly prohibited under any circumstances.
• Age & Suitability: We cater to families and couples. We do not accept young groups or "party" bookings.
• Accurate Guest Count: Our villa is priced to encourage smaller groups. The base rate covers up to 6 guests; additional fees apply for each guest beyond that. If you input the correct number of guests, the price will be given accordingly.
Protection of our Villa
• No "All-Day" Sunscreen (e.g., P20): Due to the permanent damage caused to linens, towels, and furniture, P20 and similar "all-day" suntan lotions are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to charge for any damage or staining caused by these products.
• No Hair Dye: The use of hair dye is prohibited within the villa.
• No Pets: Due to severe family allergies, we maintain a strict no-pet policy.
Stay Details
• Self-Catering: This is a self-catering unit; meals are not provided.
• Minimum Stay: During peak weeks, we typically require a 7-night minimum (Thursday to Thursday). Requirements may vary by season—please check with us.
• Check-In: Our House Manager will meet you on to show you around. He is your primary contact, though we are always available if needed.
SPECIAL NOTES
• While we feature a fireplace in our photography, please note it is decorative only and not for use.
Insurance & Liability
• Travel Insurance: All guests should arrange their own travel insurance.
• Cancellation: Our cancellation policy is fixed as stated in the listing.
• Location Check: Please review our location and distances to Carvoeiro’s amenities (bars, supermarkets, etc.) before booking to ensure the residential setting suits your group’s needs.

• Party Composition: Please confirm the final number of adults and children (including the ages of children at the time of your stay).
o Note: Please notify us immediately if your guest count changes from your original booking.
2. Travel & Logistics
• Flight Details: Scheduled arrival and departure flight numbers and times.
• Check-in/Out: Our times are strict to ensure the villa is prepared for every guest. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your flights.
3. Equipment.
• Do you require a travel cot or a high chair? (We will ensure these are set up for your arrival).
4. Optional Extras All extras are conveniently paid via this platform. Please let us know if you would like to add:
• Pool Heating: Most guests find the pool refreshing without heating in July/August & September, but the option is available if you prefer.
Important if you have the pool heated/ Hot Tub: To maintain the temperature and prevent evaporation, the pool cover must be put on every night and during the day whenever the pool is not in use for long periods.

Wonderful family stay!
By Lisa on 07-Aug-2025We had a wonderful family stay at Casa Valhalla! The villa itself was really clean and bigger than then the photos showed and very well appointed. It sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood which is an easy drive to many gorgeous beaches and towns. Supermarkets really close and the keg of beer went down very well! Lovely welcome touches. Our two families thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again. Great communication from the hosts! We loved it!
Incredible stay
By Christopher on 06-Sep-2024We had an incredible stay at this Villa! The house was spacious and had plenty of room for our whole family to spread out comfortably. The layout worked perfectly for us, offering both privacy and great communal areas to come together. The pool was definitely a highlight! It was clean, well-maintained, and large enough for everyone to enjoy. We spent most of our days lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful garden surrounding the property. The garden added a peaceful, relaxing vibe and gave the kids plenty of space to run around and play. This home had everything we needed for a great vacation. If you’re looking for a family-friendly getaway with plenty of space and a fantastic outdoor area, this is the place to stay!

The house was kitted out with everything we could need, and is ideally located near a large supermarket for supplies, close to Carvoeiro town for restaurants and the beach, and within a 15-minute drive of a number of local golf courses. The BBQ on the outside terrace was great for an evening meal for our final night before leaving for the airport the next morning. The hosts were very communicative throughout and check-in with Miguel at the property was smooth and easy. Highly recommended – our group is already hoping to return again next year.

A big plus was the garden with a lovely pool and a fantastic jacuzzi that we used every night Lisa was very accommodating and helpful. Quick help for everything. We can definitely recommend their beautiful home.
