Description
Casa Suzanne is situated in a peaceful location in the sought after area of La Colina on the edge of the golf course (100 meters), 10 - 15 minutes walk from the Atlantico centre with supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants, the beach and sea. It is 10 more minutes walk to the town centre. It has a large shared pool (30 meters long) and children's pool. There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people 2 with balconies and all with built in wardrobes. (Cot, high chair plastic cutlery, plates, mugs and bowls provided), lounge, dining room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms 1 with bath and shower, the other with a shower. Outside there is an enclosed patio, 1 large BBQ, terrace with table, chairs, sun loungers and a small garden with off street parking. It is just 10km from the airport and transfers are easily arranged. Costa Caleta is underdeveloped with no high rise buildings and is never crowded. It provides easy access to the rest of the island including its green centre and the mountains as well as ferry crossings to the other islands in the Canaries. It has, of course a great climate - warmer that mainland Europe in winter and not as hot in summer. The Golf course, which recently hosted the Spanish Open is a 5 minute walk away. For those who want a quiet relaxing time or walking it is ideal. For those who want more to do, the activities include many sea sports, camel rides and crazy golf and cycling. Buses are cheap in the resort including a free bus from the Atlantico Centre to the Golf Course and to the zoo in the south of the island. . The beach offers either chargeable umbrellas and loungers or a free area. We provide a cool box and ice packs for a picnic. Being close to the golf course we are delighted to advise that the the entrance is 100 yards away between the 17th green and the 18th tee. You can book tee times in advance either for morning, afternoon or evening rounds.A large jacuzzi is installed with under water iighting. Behind the Jacuzzi is an area of artificial grass. We provide not only hand and bath towels but also one for the beach/pool/Jacuzzi so you do not need to pack them.Bedroom Details

By Kati & Tony on 14-Apr-2025The house itself is fantastic – spacious, bright, and airy. One of the two balconies offers a lovely sea view, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink. The garden is beautiful and relaxing, and the veranda with the built-in BBQ is a great addition for outdoor meals. There’s plenty of outdoor furniture and sunbathing equipment, making it easy to enjoy the sunny weather in comfort. The pool is just one door away, which was extremely convenient for quick dips throughout the day, and there’s also a good-sized Jacuzzi to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including an oven and dishwasher, which made meal preparation easy and convenient. The internet was very reliable, and there’s a TV with English channels. We also appreciated the thoughtful selection of games and excellent books for both adults and children. The surrounding area is stunning, with a perfect balance of natural beauty and modern convenience. The house is close to the town, the shopping centre, and the beach, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. It was very thoughtful of the hosts to provide a welcome pack, along with local recommendations and helpful information about the area. It’s a pleasant 15–20 minute walk down the hill to the beach, with plenty to enjoy along the way – including playgrounds, kids' rides, bars, restaurants, and various food and clothing shops. When it’s time to return, taxis are easy to find and very affordable, usually only €2–€3 – a big plus for families or those with tired feet! We really enjoyed our holiday and would be happy to stay at the house again – it’s spacious enough to accommodate a family of 6 or more comfortably. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Graham Murphy for your extra generosity – it was truly appreciated!
An excellent place to stay for couples and families

The location was good, offering stunning views and just a short taxi journey (around €4) to local attractions. The villa itself was spacious, and clean making it feel like a home away from home. The amenities were top-notch, from the private hotel tub to the fully equipped kitchen. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We can't wait to return and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

It is located in a quiet, mostly residential street and perfect for families or couples wanting a relaxing break! Very good layout and very clean with all the 'bits' you need; cooking equipment and even a cool box for the beach! It is very conveniently situated for the lovely, clean residents pool and a two minute drive to the lovely beaches of caleta (where there's plenty of parking). Graham provided excellent directions and 'tips' for our stay before we left the UK and Sheila was very helpful and easy to contact throughout the stay (if needed). Travelling as a family we found plenty of activities to keep us entertained from beginning to end. The bars and restaurants around Caleta are all very reasonably priced and very welcoming and attentive. We will definitely come back and certainly recommend the villa!!

Perfect weather to explore the island in the hire car on the easy to navigate roads. Beaches are clean, restaurants are friendly, and prices are slightly lower than the UK. The villa is spacious and well equipped, with the bonus of the hot tub/jacuzzi. We did not use the pool next door. One couple slept upstairs, the other downstairs, so we each had our own bathroom. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning sunshine on the terrace, ate our BBQs on the rear balcony to make the most of the evening sun. The dining room is a good addition to use on chillier evenings. Free WiFi great and excellent mobile signal. Books, DVDs and games available too. Close to golf course. Shelagh (ex-pat) was helpful and did the airport journeys with good humour. We took a dune buggy excursion, which was great fun. Good local supermarket in walking distance with excellent range of fresh fruit and veg, cheese, fish and meat. Close to beach and short walk to marina and range of restaurants.
