Leave ReviewSuch a lovely villa !
By Rob & Tanja Price on 26-Jul-2025There was nothing we could fault with this property! First of all it is IMMACULATE! it’s obvious that Steve takes a great deal of pride in his villa and his cleaning staff do an amazing job. The villa was extremely well stocked with everything the 4 of us could have needed for a weeks stay, from pool towels, to kitchen & BBQ equipment to games etc. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon did a great job of taking the edge off the 40° heat we had on a couple of days. There’s a very spacious living area with satellite TV and comfy sofas. The outside area is where we spent most of our time, the pool was lovely and plenty big enough for us and the outside areas are so relaxing wether you’re laying on one of the 6 sun loungers or playing table tennis, swingball or watching over the BBQ. The villa is a short 5 minute walk from the Mercado supermarket and a similar distance from a few bars/restuarants. Walk a bit further over the road bridge and you’re within easy reach of the boardwalk which runs along the beach with stunning views and some great bars/restaurants along the way. The pictures don’t do this lovely villa justice and Steve is a brilliant host, always on hand to help, but never intrusive.
Best Holiday Ever
By Sandra Wexford on 07-Jun-2025This was easily one of our best family holidays. The villa itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, spacious, well appointed and literally everything you need is already supplied. It was ideal for our family of 6. Steve is an incredible host, his attention to detail in the villa itself, his professionalism (replies speedily to all communication). He lives next door to the villa so is on hand to help but absolutely respects your privacy. Although we did not need to contact him once in our two weeks as everything went completely smoothly. The highlight of the villa has to be its tropical style gardens- they are amazing, and of course the fabulous pool where we spent many hours of fun. You cannot beat the location. It is literally across from an excellent supermarket, moments away from a range of restaurants and bars and short stroll over the bridge to wonderful beaches and beach restaurants. Our children range from 13-22 and there was something nearby for everyone to enjoy. A car is not necessary but we enjoyed visiting nearby towns such as Mijas, Torremolinos and Marbella. Thank you Steve for sharing your piece of heaven with us, we have already booked for next year so we will see you again soon.
Everything we wished for and more!!
By Allison on 09-May-2025There are so many wonderful things to say about our stay in Villa Jacarandas and the memories made! On planning our trip, this has had to have been one of the most straightforward and stress free holidays I’ve ever organised. I put the majority of it down to Steve, the owner, who from initial contact, was super responsive, answering any queries I had, was very informative with the details on how to get to the villa, welcoming us on arrival, explaining where everything was and how everything worked and giving us recommendations on restaurants, taxi services, things to do, etc etc. Absolutely nothing was bothersome to him and we immediately felt at home. We had asked for the pool to be heated, as our young grandson was with us and it was perfect. Everything about the villa was spotless and I’m super particular. There were little extras in the cupboards, like clingfilm and teabags etc, which was helpful. The gas bbq was amazing! We used it most nights. The supermarket is literally 2 minutes walk away, so life again simplified. There really is no need for a car, as other reviewers pointed out and this was the first time ever that we didn’t hire one and used the bus service (at the end of the road) instead. It is an excellent service. We went to Marbella one day and to the market in La Cala another day. The garden is stunning with beautiful flowers and plants and we really made the most of it, enjoying all the outdoor games provided like table tennis, swing ball, the pool with pool toys, sunbathing and dining. The area is quiet and the beach is close, a short walk away. Our holiday was about having quality time with our kids from New Zealand and Villa Jacarandas was the perfect place to do this, to relax and enjoy being together as a family. Hopefully, we will be back! It is a special place and thankful to you Steve for sharing it. Last bit of advice.. try it for yourselves!
Lovely, cosy villa
By Paul on 08-Apr-2025We had a lovely stay in this well located and equipped villa. The property was very clean and had everything you needed, inside and out. We made great use of the pool, table tennis and grass. A great supermarket and some good restaurants and cafes are all within 3mins walk and the beach is around 10mins. Excellent communication from the friendly and helpful owner.
Hidden Gem
By Bbear11 on 02-Sep-2024We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Jacarandas. The host, Steve is brilliant, really helpful and a great communicator. He was on hand very quickly when we had one minor problem with one of the shower heads ( which was replaced before we needed to use it again). Some of the highlights were:- The Villa- great layout and very clean Comfortable beds with good quality bedding White fluffy towels Extremely well equipped kitchen Little extras , like kitchen roll , foil etc. already there. Air con in all bedrooms and lounge Huge amount of storage space Location - don’t need a car, everything on your doorstep. Pool area absolutely stunning - very clean. Beautiful garden well maintained. Overall, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in the Costa del Sol and we have visited yearly over the last 13 years. We would return without hesitation.
Villa Jacarandas family visit
By James S on 01-Sep-2024I stayed here with my family (wife, 2 children and in laws). We had the most amazing time. The villa was everything we needed and more. One of our children is severely autistic but the villa was perfect for him. It was secure, has a beautiful big garden at the back and of course the pool. The air conditioning throughout was a god send if you want to escape the blistering heat and kept it comfortable on a night. The grounds of the villa are well maintained and beautiful. The location is more than ideal, with a major supermarket literally at the end of the street. Although this is closed On a Sunday. There are a selection of cafe bars, shops and a pharmacy on the parade at the end of the street also. A short 10 minute walk down the road and you have some beautiful restraints. We visited the Argentinian steakhouse La Estancia which was phenomenal. The beach is again a 10 minute walk away. There really is no need to hire a car. The kitchen is well equipped (hob, oven, air fryer, microwave and a good range of pans and utensils). We did 90% of our cooking on the BBQ outside which was fantastic. The Host Steve was very informative of the local area and gave us a thorough run through of the villa and how everything worked. He was a phone call away if we needed anything. Would highly recommend for families. The villa has and is everything you need
