Description
A charming small stone house with a large Mediterranean garden on a traditional lemon terraces.“The Little House" is perfect for couples seeking a blissful escape. With a refurbished kitchen and new luxury king size bed the property is wonderful haven for week of hiking and relaxing in Deia. The large garden has many mediterranean trees: Lemon, orange, almond, olive, quince, fig and beautiful bougainvilleas. A traditional pebble and terracotta terrace surrounds the property, making it perfect for outside living where you can take in amazing views of the church of St Joan, the sea view to the Cala Deia valley and of course all around to the surrounding mountains of the Sierra Tramuntana. Several mosaic dinning tables and 4 sun-loungers finish the garden and terrace areas. WIFI coverage extends to the terrace too.
Internally the property is light and airy with high ceilings. The kitchen is well equipped: Full size dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven/grill, ceramic hob, extractor fan & fridge. The bedroom has a new air-conditioning unit. Recently renovated delightful shower room. The house also has underfloor heating and log burner for the winter.
Accessed by a beautiful stone stepped path down through lemon groves.
**The house unfortunately is not suitable for children or those with limited mobility due to the nature of the moorish terraces and stepped path down 5 lemon terraces to the property.**
Location and Area:
Perfect for a couple who want to explore Deia and enjoy walks and hikes over the mountains and coastal paths. Breathtaking views all around. Located just out of the village centre (a 6 minute walk to Forn Deia - the fabulous bakery and deli). The location is peaceful and only a short walk from the villages many superb restaurants. Cala Deia is 25 minute walk down the valley, through lower village which is called Es Clot. Port Sóller is a 15 / 20 minute drive, here you can find a large sandy beach and lovely Mallorcan cafes / restaurants. Valldemossa is a 15 minute drive in the other direction.
House Facilities:
The kitchen and living area are open-plan, you will find maps, books & bluetooth speaker. It is furnished with a sofa and footstools, dinning chairs & table. Bar stools. The newly renovated kitchen (May 2023) is well equipped. New appliances, smart tableware, fine glassware, pans, together with a Nespresso classic pod coffee machine. A pantry selection of oils, vinegars, herbs and spices.
The bedroom has a kingsize bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chairs, bed-side cabinets, lamps & mirrors (and magnifying mirror). Bed linen & bath towels are provided. An iron, ironing board & hairdryer are provided together with drying rack and vacuum cleaner. A coolbag with freezer packs are provided. And don’t forget to practice yoga on the stone terrace. (Yoga mats available).
In the bathroom there is a large overhead shower and second handheld faucet. WC and sink with cupboard.
Prices:-
- The prices are per night. Minimum stay is 4 nights.
- Standard linen and utility costs are included. Additional cleaning / linen extra can be arranged, payable extras.
- Car parking permit for residents zone is possible..
- A cautionary security deposit is requested. This is fully returnable post stay on safe return of the keys / care of property.
- Depending upon your arrival day/time you collect keys at the office or via key safe system.
The house is usually available from 16:00 on the day of arrival. Week days are preferred checkin days. Key box check-in or keys can be issued by private arrangement with the owner.
Check-out is by 09:00 - unless agreed differently
Arriving after 17:00 is likely additional charges if you are having the greet and meet and service.
(Weekend check-ins may incur more charges as the office is only open on week days but usually this isn’t an issue if the key arrangements are sorted well in advance with ourselves.)

The house is immaculately presented, with everything we needed. It was restful and quiet with brilliant day time views and night skies to savour. We had a lovely dinner at Sebastian's and strongly recommend a visit.
Where to start..

If you need to take time and space to repair and nourish it's perfect. Everything about the place 'feels' just right and the owners are a joy. The light every morning was smile inducing and there's a night sky to take your breath away. I can't really do the whole experience justice....go! Ged+jo xX

A magical little finca
By Beth on 11-May-2024Beautiful little finca in such a great location. The “little house “ has been furnished to a very high standard. It has all appliances needed & a very comfortable bed. It was lovely to sit on the terrace in amongst the lemon & orange trees. Deia is a charming little village with just the right amount of bars, restaurants and shops. We had a delicious dinner at restaurant Sebastian and would highly recommend a visit.
Beautiful garden amazing views and a very private place
By Judith Silk on 20-Sep-2023We had an amazing time, the house is very quaint with a unique position. You have views of the sea and of the mountains. We were impressed with everything in the house it was modern but with still the Spanish finca touches. We will definitely visit Can Borino again.
Fantastic stay at the beautiful house in Deia

The setting is very peaceful with stunning views of the surrounding area, making it the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The charming house is maintained to a very high standard with modern interior whilst maintaining its Mediterranean character. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need and there is plenty of space for dining, both inside and outside on the pretty terrace, overlooking the lovely garden. It’s just a short 10 minute stroll into the picturesque village of Deia which has several fantastic restaurants and bars. Overall this is an amazing place to stay for a wonderful holiday. Can’t wait to return.
Amazing Finca in a perfect setting and views on all sides in the most beautiful of majorcan villages.

The accommodation in this beautiful Finca is perfect from it's modern interior within character with all facilities you would need to it's stunning location with amazing views . It is super accessible to the main village but has that amazing tranquility so you can fully relax. The outdoor space is amazing to relax during the day but also to sit outside and enjoy in the evening also either pre going out or when you return. The proximity of amazing walks/hikes and beautiful coves is perfect and add this to the good infrastructure means everything is really accessible to make your stay super amazing.
