A charming small stone secluded house with a large Mediterranean garden on a traditional moorish agricultural terrace in Deia.

“The Little House" is perfect for a couple seeking a blissful escape. New in 2023 - a totally upgraded kitchen - new cabinets and appliances together with bar area. The large garden has many mediterranean trees: Lemon, orange, almond, olive, quince, fig and beautiful bougainvilleas. A traditional pebble and terracotta terrace surrounds the property, making it perfect for outside living where you can take in amazing views up to the church of St Joan, the sea view via the Cala Deia valley and of course all around to the surrounding mountains of the Sierra Tramuntana. Two mosaic dinning tables and 4 sun-loungers finish the garden and terrace areas. WIFI coverage extends to the terrace too.
(This house has the official tourist letting licence - ETV fully approved).
Internally the property is light and airy with high ceilings. The kitchen is well equipped: Full size dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven/grill, ceramic hob, extractor fan & fridge. The bedroom has a Samsung air-conditioning unit. Recently renovated delightful shower room. The house also has underfloor heating and log burner for the winter.
Accessed by a beautiful stone stepped path down through lemon groves - about 70 steps.
**The house unfortunately is not suitable for children or those with limited mobility due to the nature of the moorish terraces and stepped path down 5 lemon terraces to the property.**

Location and Area:
It is the perfect spot for a couple who want to explore the picturesque pueblo of Deia and enjoy walks and hikes over the mountains and coastal paths. Breathtaking views all around. Located just out of the village centre (a 6 minute walk to Forn Deia - the fabulous bakery and deli). The location is peaceful and only a short walk from the villages many superb restaurants. Cala Deia is 25 minute walk down the valley, through lower village which is called Es Clot. Port Sóller is a 15 / 20 minute drive, here you can find a large sandy beach and lovely Mallorcan cafes / restaurants. Valldemossa is a 15 minute drive in the other direction.
House Facilities:
The kitchen and living area are open-plan, you will find maps, books & bluetooth speaker. It is furnished with a sofa and footstools, dinning chairs & table. Bar stools. The newly renovated kitchen (May 2023) is well equipped. New appliances, smart tableware, fine glassware, pans, together with a Nespresso classic pod coffee machine. Of course quality knives & utensils etc. A pantry selection of oils, vinegars, herbs and spices plus LED kitchen lighting and LED portable lights.
The bedroom has a kingsize bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chairs, bed-side cabinets, lamps & mirrors (and magnifying mirror). Bed linen & bath towels are provided. An iron, ironing board & hairdryer are provided together with drying rack and vacuum cleaner. A coolbag with freezer packs are provided. And don’t forget to practice yoga on the stone terrace. (Yoga mat available).
In the bathroom there is a large overhead shower and second handheld faucet. WC and sink with cupboard.

Prices:-
- The prices are per night. Minimum stay is 5 nights. Or the charge is for 5 nights should you wish to stay for less time.
- Standard linen and utility costs are included. Additional cleaning / linen extra can be arranged, payable extras.
- Car parking permit for residents zone is £20 if required.
- A cautionary security deposit of £150 is requested. This is fully returnable post stay on safe return of the keys / care of property.
- The property management company is located in the village and I have nothing but praise for them. Depending upon your arrival day/time you collect keys at the office or via key safe system.
Also, we have contacts for booking massage / beauty treatments and Yoga classes. We can also recommend many restaurants.
The house is usually available from 16:00 on the day of arrival. Week days are preferred checkin days. Key box check-in can be arranged or keys can be issued by private arrangement with the owner.
Check-out is by 09:00 - unless agreed differently with the owner.
Arriving after 17:00 is likely additional charges if you are having the greet and meet and service. The calendar usually works for week day check-ins.
(Weekend check-ins may incur more charges as the office is only open on week days but usually this isn’t an issue if the key arrangements are sorted well in advance with ourselves.)
