This beautiful 4 bedroom villa which sleeps up to 8 people is on a private community in Benamara, in between San Pedro and Estepona, close to Marbella and Puerto Banus and consisting of lovely secluded villas, both private residences and holiday rental properties. The large communal gardens are beautiful with many trees and plants. There is a large shared pool and unusually a large children’s pool too. In the grounds there is a communal table tennis table. There is private off road parking too and just a few moments walk to the local Salduna Beach/Restaurant which has sun beds for hire.
The main part of the villa has a double and two twin bedrooms (the twin beds can be made up as doubles if you prefer), all on the ground floor, so suitable for the elderly and compromised. . One of the twin bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom and the other twin bedrooms share a shower room with toilet. There is a large, bright lounge, which leads out to the private gardens. There is TV with UK TV channels and the centrepiece of the lounge has a working fireplace. The decor of the villa is very attractive and traditionally Spanish. There is an open plan living/dining area with a second TV and doors to the courtyard. There is a large and well equipped kitchen, with washing machine and dishwasher. If you then go up the open staircase to the mezzanine, there is another small seating area. From the mezzanine, you can access the very large upper terrace, with a dining table and barbecue. This terrace has lovely views of the community and gardens. This property provides free wifi. All bedrooms and living areas have effective ceiling fans and newly installed air conditioning units, which can provide warm air if you’re staying during the cooler months. In addition to the main part of the villa, on the mezzanine floor there is an extension with a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a private terrace. Our prices are based on 6 guests, but if you are a party of 7 or 8 people, there will be a supplement depending on the time of year.
This is a really stunning traditionally Spanish style villa with large private outdoor space and in a great location, close to the local Salduna beach which is accessed by walking to the bottom of the road and then along the beach to the left, just 50 metres. Local restaurants, bars and shops are all just a few minutes walk away.
It is worth a short drive to the local beautiful restaurant called “Pepe's on the Beach” which serves fresh food, meat, fish, pasta etc. and has been there for many years and is very well known in the area. It’s worth noting that the beach at San Pedro, a five min drive away, has good facilities for children (playgrounds on beach and off the beach). Close to the villa is the Funky Forest, which has all sorts of activities for kids and across the road to the left is a Bar Los Arcos which has a play area to keep children busy while adults enjoy a cold drink! Also a short drive away are Heaven and Puerto Banus beaches.
The Costa del Sol is one of the most beautiful areas on the Spanish coast, including the lovely Marbella, San Pedro and Puerto Banus There are lovely places to visit and shop, in addition to some beautiful beaches. If you hire a car, there are beautiful mountain villages such as Ronda and Mijas, which are well worth visiting. You could also take a drive to Gibraltar (about 40 mins by car) which is very good for shopping (don't forget your passports). Tarifa, just past Gibraltar, has the finest beaches in Europe. There are many historical sights to visit and Seville is only just over a 2 hour drive away and is spectacular. You also have the Sierra Nevada ski resport, which is approx 2 hour drive and is worth visiting there in the summer as well. It is 11,500 feet high and has amazing scenery. Also, the biggest safari park in Europe "Selwo" is only a 10 minute drive away. The Costa del Sol, Marbella area, was voted one of the top 3 places in the world to go on holiday to, by the New York Herald.
San Pedro is a stunning small town with two distinctive aspects to it. One aspect is the beach area which is full of beautiful beach restaurants. You can have a meal or just enjoy a drink in one of the many restaurants and bars there too. The second aspect of San Pedro is the old town with literally hundreds of bodegas, bars, restaurants and old churches, on cobbled streets and typically Andalusian, but with some beautiful modern shops as well. You could literally eat in a different restaurant every day for a year and beyond!
Puerto Banus is a very exclusive and glamorous marina, where you can mingle with the rich and famous and admire their beautiful yachts, There are lots of beautiful shops to look at around the marina, including many designer names, such as Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo and Versace.
Behind San Pedro, there is a mountain road which leads to the stunning village of Ronda, which will take approximately 35-40 minutes by car with breathtaking scenery en-route!
Distances by car, Puerto Banus 5-6 minutes, the old town of Marbella 10-12 minutes, Estepona Port 8-10 minutes, San Pedro 5 minutes, the biggest safari park in Europe "Selwo" 10 minutes, water park 30 minutes, ski resort Sierra Nevada 2 hours and historical mountain villages Ronda 30-40 minutes, Casares 25 minutes and Mijas 30 minutes. There are also lovely mountain walks through pine forests with spectacular views!
