We had a lovely stay at Limonera. Very spacious and everything you require for self catering. Chanelle vey helpful and always available. We made use of the pool but it was very cold. It would have been the iciing on the cake if the restaurant had been open but unfortunately it was closed. Lovely 15 min walk into town and the beach. Would love to go again.

Apartment Limonera is bright, spacious clean and comfortable, equipped with everything you could need. The large sunny patio at the back has several sitting and dining options with umbrellas for shade - it is a bit overlooked but that’s the nature of an apartment block and it didn’t bother us. The view to the front of the Ria Formosa is lovey and its closeness brings lots of bird activity - including maybe the local rooster who likes an early start to his day! The only disappointment was that the on site restaurant is closed, it looks like permanently. Both it and the pool (which is open) have a rather sad, neglected air. Hopefully someone will take it over. However there are many good, mainly fish, restaurants in Fuseta (12 minute walk) with its lively square and seafront areas. The other big asset is the train (8 minute walk on the way into town). We took trips to Tavira, Olhão, Faro and Vila Real. If you’re over 65 bring some ID and it’s half price! We had a great holiday, enhanced by Chanelle who was lovely, very helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this place.

The booking and process of paying for the apartment was smooth and fault free, as was the reimbursement. We accidentally left some cash and this was returned quickly. The apartment is excellent internally, in a fine spot and Chanelle the agent was as helpful as one could expect, answering questions and attending to any needs. The apartment unfortunately has a couple of things on the downside - though these may be of no significance to other renters. The back of the property is where the outside eating area is and it can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms. Spilt bolognese sauce is not ideal in a bedspread! Outside, the walls are low so one is in full view of the neighbours. We are friendly people but don't want to engage in small talk every time we sit out. If you are of a culinary disposition ... the BBQ is new but gas fired, which defeats the object of outside, charcoal cooked food.

Thank you so much for your review. Thank you for mentioning those points. Unfortunately we are not able to do anything about the layout of the apartment. All ground units have been built the same way.
