This Airbnb is top notch and so are its hosts! We had a fantastic stay at Marcus and Heidi's super cared for place. It is spacious, extremely well equipped, with very comfortable furniture and beds. There are many details in this house (i.e the honesty drinks bar, the generous drink and food items provided, The TV with access to the BBC etc, etc.) that shows that he hosts have gone an extra mile to please their guests! The outdoor space is great and the heated pool is wonderful (I so enjoyed swimming in there every morning). We felt exceptionally at home and loved having chats with Marcus, meeting the dogs and saying hi to the chickens in the morning. Haria is also a good place to be staying in; it has a lovely feel with its Saturday market and a couple of small restaurants we enjoyed going to. It is great for exploring the northern part of the island and checking out all the Cesar Manrique places, as none of them are very far. Thank you guys, for a superb stay! x
The house is BEAUTIFUL-Marcus and Heidi have thought of every little detail from the kitchen appliances to the comfortable beds and a lovely welcome tray on arrival. So many little luxury touches like the honesty bar and all the art work which make this house so special. The heated pool is such a great asset and the grounds are so well maintained. The dogs/cats/chickens make it feel so homely and are fun to have around. We walked into Haría most nights for dinner or drinks and although quiet it is a charming town with a few really good restaurants! On the couple of nights we stayed in we lit the log burner and it was so cosy! Best Air BnB we have stayed in :)
Our stay at Casita Palmera in Haría , a fantastic house with character, which had everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. The location allowed us to easily explore the nearby attractions in the north of the island. Marcus & Heidi, made us feel right at home and are wonderful hosts sharing brilliant recommendations for restaurants, the local areas and beyond. The presence of friendly dogs, playful cats, and productive chickens really added to the experience. Our time here felt like a luxurious escape, leaving us with great memories, we’ll be back !
This truly was a beautiful house and we loved our stay there. Fab decor, open and airy, super well maintained. Everything was easy to use and worked perfectly. Spectacular location with a great view and also close to local amenities but the splendid pool and barbecue area seduced us to stay at the house on more than one occasion . Marcus and Heidi were the perfect hosts; they gave really great advice on shopping and restaurants, best beaches, places of interest and the car hire tip was spot on. Casita Palmera is the perfect location for enjoying Lanzarote. We've spent a fabulous week on the island with on-point recommendations in a lovely residence. The main house which we stayed in is decorated with a keen eye for the detail, well-equipped and perfect for a group up to six persons. Marcus has a very genuine way of making your stay as comfortable as possible. The hot pool is extraordinary, the view from the terrace is stunning and we really fell in love with the adorable Chester (the boss cat) and the spice girls (the chickens). As a conclusion: we've loved and enjoyed every second of our holiday due to Marcus's perfect execution of being a gentle host. Starting into the year 2022 on Lanzarote was a blast! Thanks and cheers! PS: We may come back for the Penthouse (and the animals)!
We have visited on two previous occasions but we now felt it was time to introduce the rest of the family to the delights of all that this wonderful property has to offer. This time we stayed in the penthouse and the family were in the house. Both are of the highest standard and provide all that is required for a most relaxing holiday which everyone enjoyed. Think we won in the view stakes though as they were superb ! We must pass on our grateful thanks to Marcus and Heidi for being excellent hosts once again. Philip and I cannot wait to return in February!!
