Description

Large shared pool plus splash pools right outside the door. Private, pretty garden with terrace furniture, sun loungers and large BBQ. Fully equipped including English TV channels, radio, DVD, CD player and wireless Internet. Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and juicer/blender. Log burning fire. This is a spacious house that is equipped for full time living, not with just the essentials for holiday lets. Books, puzzles and games - a home from home. Perfect for families and couples in summer or winter. Three beaches all within a 7 minute walk; the main sandy Arenal with its bars and restaurants (7 mins) a pretty natural beach with lovely views of the coastline just across the road from the main gate. Children love to go crabbing here and it is perfect to walk to with your sun chair. Last but not least is the beautiful, Cala Blanca cove (5 mins) which is lovely to swim from or to walk around.

Javea is made up of three different areas, the Arenal beachfront, the Port and the Old Town.

The Arenal Beachfront is a curved sandy beach with a promenade flanked by shops, bars and restaurants. Perfect for families, the beach is safe, clean and spacious.

The Port area also has a beach, bars and restaurants along with the Marina where the fishermen bring in the daily catch. This area has a very different feel to that of the Arenal Beach.

The Old Town of Javea is the traditional centre with narrow streets dominated by the 15th century church. This is real Spain with tapas bars, the market square and of course the weekly market..

Around Javea there are many beaches and coves to visit, watersports, horseriding, golf, crazy golf, young childrens fairground, go karting, tennis, walking.... the list goes on.

These holidays just get better !

This is our 18 th year that we have had a holiday in this lovely villa, and the last few years it has been 2 monthly stays one in May/June and the other Sep/Oct. The villa has everything that we need for a restful stay spotlessly clean and plenty of supplies of towels and linen. There is a lovely garden in the rear of the villa with a barbecue and yet everything is so close if you want to explore. If we want to go to the beautiful beaches and restaurants, Javea is in 3 parts. The beach area with great places to drink and dine.Port area has good shops and bars and the old town that has a great Thursday market, so there is always somewhere to visit locally. The pool outside the villa is rarely busy and is kept spotless as are the grounds. Yes ! this villa is always our first choice!

EXCEPTIONAL

Just two days into my holiday and I am wanting to write this 5 star excellent review because we are absolutely thrilled with this place. We found this property through the Simply Owners web-site and were delighted that we could speak with Sue the owner beforewe had to book and pay. We arrived at the villa following a severe storm so there were lots of leaves and debris blown around but these were immediately cleared away and the pool and surrounding environment was kept immaculate all week. The large communalpool and the three smaller children pools were crystal clear and wonderfully refreshing. The private garden to the rear of the villa was sweet and neat and provided peaceful tranquility with sun and shade. Everything you needed was there by way of loungers,umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels, barbecue etc. The villa itself was very spacious and clean. Crisp white bedding and soft linen towelling. The air-conditioning in the bedrooms was welcomed and the fans downstairs were more than adequate. The location of the villa is spot on, just a short stroll (couple of minutes) to the fabulous Arenal sandy beach and the shops the same distance. The supermarket was just around the corner which was huge and had everything you could ever need and they alsodelivered if you shopped on-line. We had what could arguably be the best Indian meal ever in the Katmandu restaurant just minutes from the villa. The owner Sue rang us the very next morning after our arrival to see if everything was ok especially the wifi given the previous days storm. All was ok and we were pleased not to miss out on our UK TV. We had a fantastic holiday and will be back in the nearfuture. We were also pleased that we only paid the owners price and no booking fees were added. Highly recommend this property and Simply Owners.

Beautiful home in ideal location

We have been staying in this lovely house for many years now. You will see from other reviews that many guests return year after year as, like us, they have found the ideal property. It is always immaculate and feels like a lovely home rather than a holiday let. It has everything you need and the garden is a real bonus. The pool is also very welcome and never too busy even at peak holiday times. We have stayed as a couple and a family of 5 and it is equally spacious and comfortable for both. The situation is ideal - it is quiet and peaceful but there is a rocky beach just across the road and the Arenal with its lovely sandy beach and many shops, restaurants and cafes/bars just an 8 minute walk away. A car is not necessary except for exploring further afield - there is also a bus service just along the road. The owner, Sue, is incredibly helpful and very easy to stay in contact with. The housekeepers, Sheila and Steve, are on hand in case of any problems or queries. I cannot recommend this property highly enough -it is a real find. We hope to continue visiting for many years to come.
