Description
A 2 bedroom,1 bathroom,1 en-suite shower, top floor luxury apartment with balcony. The balcony has sliding doors allowing the whole apartment to be opened up. There is a spacious living room and dining area to the front of the apartment with bedrooms and bathrooms to the rear. The property has a well maintained communal garden and swimming pool and the closest beach is less than a 2 minute walk away with direct access to the sea even closer. It is very peaceful and yet just a short walk to the centre of the old fishing village of L'Escala. There is private secure covered reserved car parking space available at a supplementary cost (recommended in high season.£70/80 euros per week).Whilst we accept bookings of less than a week (minimum 4 days) there is a supplementary charge of 10%. If only 2 people,we offer a 5% discount on displayed prices over 4 days. You are not tied necessarily Saturday to Saturday allowing you to take advantage of perhaps cheaper mid week flights.For stays of two weeks or more all linen and towels are changed weekly at no extra charge.Any extra cleaning of the apartment can be organised and paid direct to house keeping.For stays of over 2 weeks a 5% discount on each additional week.So 2 people staying more than 2 weeks but not less than 3, get 10% discount.The
L'Escala has a wide array of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars as well as weekly fruit Market (village square) and clothes market etc. on a Sunday(on the promenade).Fresh bread and milk available every morning from one of many bakeries.
Enjoy San Marti, medieval village, for outdoor dining; take the novelty bus- train which runs regularly in the Summer. The journey takes in many beaches and passes the World Heritage site of Ampurias, a Roman/Greek settlement and the location where Olympic Torch* arrived on the Catalan coast in 2012 (*see if you can spot this Landmark). Alternatively you can choose to walk, it is about 1500 metres.

The pool was great and considering the summer holidays it was not too busy. The view from the balcony was stunning, offering a quiet and relaxing backdrop, especially at sunrise and sunset. The apartment was very well equipped , comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the area. It’s a wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of L’Escala. Exceptional Stay with Gorgeous Views and Seamless Communication
By Katrine DK on 08-Jul-2025We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful top floor apartment in L’Escala. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment is very well equipped, well maintained and the view from the balcony is simply breathtaking - we spent so much time out there! The apartment is wonderfully peaceful, yet only a short walk to the charming old fishing village of L’Escala with its lovely shops, restaurants and markets. The garden and swimming pool are very well maintained and the location could not be better - less than a two minute walk to the beach and direct access to the sea even closer. What really made the experience great was the excellent communication with the owner. Every interaction was clear, prompt and helpful - it made booking and planning so easy. We also really appreciated the flexibility around arrival and departure days - not being tied to a Saturday to Saturday schedule was a huge plus. We would 100% like to stay in this apartment again and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high quality holiday by the sea.

Location, location, location.
By Ian Blair on 10-Aug-2024Mikes apartment was perfectly situated for us. Just a few meters to the sea for snorkelling, the beach 500 meters away and the old village 2mins walk. Well kitted out with everything we need. Nice host who recommended Ken the cabbie for our airport transfer.

Beautiful apartment in a stunning setting
By Jo on 24-Jul-2024Beautiful, clean apartment with everything you need (and more!) - it’s the most well-equipped self-catering accommodation we’ve stayed in. The pool never got busy (and we holidayed in August) which was lovely and it was extremely clean and well maintained. Stunning views from the balcony - we watched amazing sunrises and enjoyed several evening meals out there. The pebbly beaches within 2 minutes walk were great for going out snorkelling in clear waters (would advise taking water shoes as opposed to bare feet). 5 minutes further is a beautiful sandy beach (quite small so got quite busy) and then several more beaches (less busy) within easy walking distance. Michael advised no need to hire a car and I’m glad we didn’t. L’Escala has lots of bars, restaurants, lovely shops within easy walking distance - and there’s the little local road train if you want to go slightly further and save your legs. We had an amazing holiday, would 100% recommend the location and apartment for any age group and would love to return in the future. Thanks Michael!
The perfect retreat

The information pack allowed us to settle in very quickly and sample fabulous restaurants we may well have missed . Thank you Michael

Magical place for rest and relaxation
By Laura on 08-Aug-2023Michael’s apartment is all you need for a happy restful time in L’Escala - close to all the little beaches, sandy and rocky, heavenly sea and delicious places to eat. The apartment is perfect for a family of four, compact but spacious enough and the balcony has amazing views both night and day, amazing stars! The communal pool is perfect too. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. No air con but plenty of fans. We’ve already recommended it to others and hope to be back!
