Description

A 2 bedroom,1 bathroom,1 en suite shower, top floor luxury apartment with balcony. The balcony has sliding doors allowing the whole apartment to be opened up. There is a spacious living room and dining area to the front of the apartment with bedrooms and bathrooms to the rear. The property has a well maintained communal garden and swimming pool and the closest beach is less than a 2 minute walk away with direct access to the sea even closer. It is very peaceful and yet just a short walk to the centre of the old fishing village of L'Escala. There is private secure covered reserved car parking space available at a supplementary cost (recommended in high season.£50/60 euros per week).Whilst we accept bookings of less than a week (minimun 4 days) there is a supplementary charge of 5%. Also you are not tied necessarily Saturday to Saturday allowing you to take advantage of perhaps cheaper mid week flights.For stays of two weeks or more all linen and towels are changed weekly at no extra charge.Any extra cleaning of the apartment can be organised and paid direct to house keeping.
L'Escala has a wide array of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars as well as weekly fruit Market (village square) and clothes market etc. on a Sunday(on the promenade).Fresh bread and milk available every morning from one of many bakeries.
Enjoy San Marti, medieval village, for outdoor dining; take the novelty bus- train which runs regularly in the Summer. The journey takes in many beaches and passes the World Heritage site of Ampurias,a Roman/Greek settlement and the location where Olympic Torch* arrived on the Catalan coast in 2012 (*see if you can spot this Landmark). Alternatively you can choose to walk, it is about 1500 metres.

The perfect retreat

The apartment punta romana is the most beautiful , clean and well equipped place we have ever stayed and we travel a lot Location , facilities and views second to none with everything you need. The information pack allowed us to settle in very quickly and sample fabulous restaurants we may well have missed . Thank you Michael

Magical place for rest and relaxation

Michael’s apartment is all you need for a happy restful time in L’Escala - close to all the little beaches, sandy and rocky, heavenly sea and delicious places to eat. The apartment is perfect for a family of four, compact but spacious enough and the balcony has amazing views both night and day, amazing stars! The communal pool is perfect too. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. No air con but plenty of fans. We’ve already recommended it to others and hope to be back!

An excellent top floor apartment, with stunning views, in a great location, giving easy walking access to the town & surrounding area.

The top floor apartment has all you need & has spectacular views across the bay. There is a swimming pool and the sea is a stone’s throw away where you can safely swim, snorkel and paddle board. The apartment is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to sandy beaches, the restaurants and bars around the old towns small sandy beach. L’Escala is a small quiet town, frequented in the main by Spanish families. It is not a tourist hotspot and thankfully the British holidaymakers have not yet found this ‘gem’! We loved it so much that we have immediately booked it for next year (2023)
