Fantastic beachfront location! This house ticks all the boxes – it was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and the location is simply perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The beautiful horseshoe bay is right in front of you and there are bars and restaurants on the doorstep or within easy walking distance, as well as a boardwalk along the beach which is great for accessibility needs. We had a couple of windy days so it was ideal to lounge up on our very own private roof terrace which gave us both sun and shelter from the breeze. Highly recommended and will definitely be booking again. Oct ‘21.
Probably the best location you will find in Menorca, and at the same time a rental where everything is on point. When booking this apartment, the expectations for a great holiday have been met! There’s a lot of space, nicely furnished, high standard bathrooms, and all the equipment you can possibly need are found in the kitchen (that is if you’re going to cook for yourself during your holiday). But honestly, the best part about this place is the BIG balcony with the most amazing 360’ view of the bay - absolutely breathtaking! You can easily say that you don’t just live by the beach, but that you’re living AT the beach! We’ve been coming to Menorca throughout many years, and we’ve definitely found our favourite place to stay on the island, and haven’t been looking for anywhere else to stay since we went here the first time. We happily adapt the dates of our holiday to match whenever this place is free to rent, because this is literally the only place at Menorca we would want to stay. We’ve also experience easy, friendly and smooth communication with the owners.
We have been “holidaying” in Arenal Den Castell for 6 or 7 years now and love the resort, the restaurants and the safety of the beach for our children, now aged 7 and 10. This house exceeded our expectations on every level. Not only is the location the best in resort, it’s spacious and modern, comfortable and extremely well equipped (the kitchen has EVERYTHING and the 3 bathrooms meant we could take our pick and there was always plenty of towels). Of course the close proximity to the beach meant that it was extremely easy to just pop down to the sea for an early morning swim, or even a midnight swim in our case on a couple of occasions (August was hot!). It also meant that it was very easy to retreat to the house for lunch or a snack, which could be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the beach, giving the impression you were still at the beach! The terrace is perfectly positioned so that it has sufficient sun and shade on it all throughout the day and it has very comfortable furniture to allow for hours of reading a book. Initially we had concerns that there was pool, our kids love to jump in a pool, but it was a non-issue. Almost daily, there was a trip to El-Mirador which is literally a 3-5 minute walk away. They have a large pool which they allow you to use if you buy a drink (or two). The people are lovely, they have a great menu and a nice breeze. This year we also walked to the water parc at Marine Parc hotel which we thought was good value for the full day for €98 for all of us on an all inclusive basis (all food and drinks included). Adrian was fantastic to deal with, extremely reasonable with his approach to Covid, and the uncertainty this caused, and contacted me to refund my security deposit before I had a chance to think about it. We will definitely be returning!
