This imposing, secluded 4 bedroom villa is set high up in the stunningly beautiful natural park of S’Albufera with 360 degree views over the surrounding hills towards the sea at Es Grau on one side and the island’s highest point of Monte Toro on the other. A long upward-sloping drive leads to a large gravelled parking area and steps up to the house itself with bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and a spacious living area above, taking advantage of those extensive views.
The upstairs front door leads into high vaulted open-plan sitting and dining areas and a well- equipped kitchen with electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The main sitting room has large comfortable L-shaped seating by a corner fireplace and a smart flat-screen TV connected to the Wifi and Sky dish, with DVD and music system. At the far end is a further sitting and dining area surrounded on three sides by fully opening windows onto more countryside views, with stairs down to the courtyard. Outside the kitchen, overlooking the pool area, there’s also a terrace with table and chairs for eight and sun-awning. An internal staircase leads down to the ground floor. Bedroom 1 has a king-size double bed with ample built in wardrobe storage, and an attached wet room with shower, wash basin and WC and French windows leading out to the courtyard. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and an en suite with shower over a bath, basin and WC and a door to the courtyard. Bedroom 3 is another with a double bed, built in wardrobe and French windows again to the courtyard and Bedroom 4 has twin beds, built in wardrobe, air conditioning and French windows into the garden with further access to the courtyard. There is also a family bathroom with separate shower cubicle, bath, washbasin and WC. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans, shutters with mosquito blinds and net curtains..
The attractive old courtyard provides plentiful sheltered space for sunbathing, an undercover area for alfresco dining, a Weber gas barbecue and in one corner a laundry room with washer, iron, ironing board etc which can also double as a summer kitchen with fridge, sink with hot and cold water, built in cupboards and work surfaces for food preparation in conjunction with the barbecue. A door from the courtyard leads through to the pool terrace. The roughly 10 X 9 metre pool is surrounded by terracing with ample space for sun loungers. There’s a sun shaded pergola with comfortable seating and an outside shower room with wash basin and WC. The surrounding gardens, planted with a great variety of trees and shrubs including oleander, tamarisk, pomegranate, citrus and palm, are surrounded mostly by stone walls, behind which lie a further variety of native wild bushes and trees. Although the property gives one a feeling of being so private and isolated the little fishing village of Es Grau, with a useful well stocked shop, a really child-friendly beach and beachside bars, is only a ten minute drive away. The port of Mahon, buzzing with activity, is about 15 minutes by car and the airport can be reached in 20 minutes.

We found Timonera very easily and everything is perfect !
We love it ... beautiful and quiet. What a pleasure to find the bottle of Rioja, coming back from a lovely walking/ swimming in Es Grau...
I must say we honored the bottle sitting by the pool and watching the sunset.

It is a haven of peace and tranquility, perfect if you prefer somewhere away from the crowds and a must if you are a nature lover. Sit on the balcony and watch eagles and kites soar on the thermals above you or take a drink out in the evening and listen to the churring of nightjars and the hooting of owls… An incredibly spacious, versatile, comfortable and well-equipped villa

The villa is beautiful, spacious and very well managed and that made our stay very comfortable and stress free. The pool is lovely and the kids spent many happy hours splashing about; it has a very nice shaded area for when the sun gets too hot. If you are nature lovers then this is a great place to stay: booted eagles, red kites, kestrels and the occasional Egyptian vulture are seen daily flying around the area
