Casa Feliz is our privately owned holiday home essentially for the use of family and friends. We enjoy its peaceful surroundings set in beautiful Spanish style gardens and shaded by two fully grown palm trees either side of the elegant terracotta pathway leading to the house. Enter into the spacious living area with cream floor tiling creating an ambience of light and cool. The living room has its own dedicated, remote-controlled hot & cold air conditioner which silently produces cool air for even the hottest days. For winter warmth there is a log-burning cassette fireplace. There are two leather sofas on which you can relax to watch television or use your phone or tablet with the fast fibre-optic internet.
Adjacent to the living room is the fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher and induction hob for fast efficient cooking. There is also a fridge/freezer and microwave, toaster and coffee maker. All in all everything you need for a family holiday.
A short hallway takes you to the three bedrooms:
Main bedroom – complete with King-sized (150cm) bed with very comfortable memory foam mattress. There is a cabinet each side of the bed each with its own table lamp ideal for a spot of bed-time reading. The fitted wardrobe covers the whole width of the room giving you plenty of space for your special holiday clothes. The window which overlooks the gardens has its own integrated blind to keep out the bright morning sunlight and there is also the remote-controlled hot & cold air conditioner so you can sleep in the perfect atmosphere to suit you.
Second bedroom – has twin beds, fitted wardrobe, window with integrated blind and remote-controlled hot & cold air conditioner.
Third bedroom – has twin beds, free standing wardrobe, window with integrated blind and remote-controlled hot & cold air conditioner.
Shower room – with spacious quarter-circle shower surround, wash basin, WC, wall heater and extractor fan operated from the lightswitch with timed overrun to remove steam from the shower.
Family bathroom – with WC, bidet, washbasin, bathtub with shower as well as wall heater and extractor fan connected to the lightswitch.
The rear terrace has a purpose-built enclosure for the washing machine and water heater as well as domestic cleaning items. The terrace overlooks the swimming pool and pretty gardens and we really enjoy sitting out , relaxing with a drink, barbecueing and watching the Mediterranean sea. Alternatively you can sunbathe all day on the lawn to the front of the house. Also the ideal place for a relaxed breakfast shaded by the cream sun blind.
There is a shopping centre at the entrance to the urbanization and this has a Carrefour supermarket, Italian restaurant, newsagents/ booksellers, hairdresser, dry cleaners, tapas bar/cafe, superb Indian restaurant, pharmacy and coffee shops.
Mijas is about 15 minutes drive or you can take the bus by the shopping centre. The aquaparks at Fuengirola and Torremolinos are about 10 minutes by car with Malaga being about 20 minutes by train. Malaga is a beautiful city with its harbour, cathedral and, of course, the world-famous Picasso museum.
About 20 minutes walk to safe, sandy beach with bars and restaurants. An ideal base for sightseeing with aquaparks about 10 minutes drive, Fuengirola 10 mins., Mijas about 15 minutes and Gibraltar just over one hour. The villa is less than 20 minutes from Malaga airport and we can arrange your transfer if you wish. We live about 15 minutes away and speak fluent Spanish. There is a shopping centre at the entrance to the urbanisation and this has a Carrefour supermarket, newsagents/booksellers, tapas bar, dry cleaners, Tea/Cake shop and excellent Indian restaurant. The white Andalusian village of Benalmadena Pueblo is only 3 kms. from the house and you can enjoy strolling through its peaceful cobbled streets and taking lunch at one of the many cafes and restaurants.
The house will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival with bedlinen, towels and kitchen/ bathroom essentials provided.
The cost of final cleaning and laundry services is not included; costs are €70 for cleaning and laundry at €12,50 per person.
Extra maid service can be ordered if you wish at €10 per hour.
Access is required each week on a predetermined day for garden and pool maintenance.
Check in is from 14.00 – 16.00 and check out is at 10.00 a.m. on day of departure. These times can be changed by prior arrangement.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT – This is a refundable deposit of €500.

NOTES: The house will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival with bedlinen and towels provided. Beach towels are not provided but these are readily available in local shops with a huge range to suit all tastes and budget. Final cleaning is not included in our pricing and, in this case, is €110 irrespective of the number of guests.
We offer a personal meet and greet service with airport transfer by reserved taxi or minibus from a reputable company with careful drivers. We can also recommend quality car hire companies located at Malaga airport.
Check in time is guaranteed from 16.00 and check out time is 10.00 but these times may be flexible by prior arrangement.
Baby equipment is available to hire.
