La Sierrezuela is in Mijas Costa, which is set between the picturesque mountain village of Mijas and the beachside bustling town of Fuengirola, famed for its beaches, restaurants, bars and buzzing night life.
La Sierrezuela is a very exclusive and prestigious high end urbanisation. It is located only 5 minutes drive from Fuengirola and Mijas town centre. It is a quiet and green urbanisation with large privately owned villas with mature gardens.
Sierrezuela was founded around 1980 and is at the foot of the mountain where the main road leads up along the hill. The villas have spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, the bay and the towns Fuengirola and Mijas. Some are also overlooking Mijas Golf.
There is only one point of entrance to the urbanisation "La Sierrezuela" and therefore very little traffic from cars others than the people living in the urbanisation. It is a quiet area yet close to the access motorway so is within easy reach of Malaga city, the airport, as well as Marbella, and Puerto Banus. Gibraltar is less than an hour’s drive away.

A great place to stay
By Steve Small on 02-Aug-2025The owners were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, on the end of the phone/whatsapp, gave some great places to go for food and drink and places to shop. Thank you !! The accommodation was very clean and tidy with everything you needed with amazing views. Pool was an absolute delight. We will be booking again!!

Lovely Stay
By Marije Hoffman on 27-Apr-2022Lovely stay! We stayed for second time in casa Calena and again we had a lovely time. We are a group of friends with small children and this house was made for us! Spacious clean bedrooms, and a perfect garden to swim, play etc. A nice kitchen made it complete. A small supermarket is on walking distance but a car is necessary if you want t go to other shops or restaurants. We had a very good time! Your reply
Beautiful Villa

At times there was just the two of us but we were joined at various times during the two weeks by 2 sons with their partners & the other son with his wife & three year old daughter. For six days there was all nine of us there but it never felt crowded. We spent most of our days at the villa enjoying the pool. The taxi service is fairly cheap, which meant that we could all go out to eat without someone having to drive, they also provided a car seat for our granddaughter. We would definitely recommend the villa.

Very well stocked, really safe, loads of room with a general feeling of warmth about it. We all absolutely loved it and are already talking about booking it again in 2 years.
