Description
My beautiful apartment is situated within walking distance of the beach close to La Cala de Mijas.It is in a small, quiet, well maintained complex with 2 swimming pools. Most of the apartments in the complex are occupied by Spanish families. There are very few used as holiday homes. Restaurants and shops are close by. There is a lovely boardwalk where you can stroll to La Cala de Mijas one way and Calahonda the other.
The balcony is in full sun all morning and provides a good place to relax and read a book. The beach is 10 minutes walk. There are chirangitos on the beach which provide delicious food. La Cala de Mijas is 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes taxi ride. La Cala has flamenco dancing, a market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and numerous bars and restaurants. For the more adventurous, Malaga is 45 minutes by car and is well worth a visit. It has designer shops, the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba and a Roman ampi theatre. Marbella also is a beautiful town worth a visit with sandy beaches. Marbella old town is a must, especially the Orangerie and the ancient city walls.
On entering the apartment the single bedroom faces you. Walk down the corridor and the kitchen is on the left. The lounge dining room is straight ahead. Sliding doors lead onto a balcony which overlooks one of the pools and has a sea view. Going back into the lounge the master bedroom is on the left the 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds is on the right and the shower room/toilet is straight on.
My apartment has a small fridge, electric hob with oven, washing machine, microwave, electric kettle toaster and hoover. The television is a samsung smart TV. The balcony has 2 loungers and a small table with stools so you can eat el fresco.
There is self check in. The gate of the complex has a key code and the apartment has a key box just outside the main door.
Malaga airport is 30 to 60 minutes from the apartment. depending on traffic. I can recommend a taxi service which knows my apartment and provides a good transfer rate to and from the airport. There is no parking in the complex. Parking is outside.
50% non refundable deposit on booking. The remaining amount is due 8 weeks before your holiday. Payment is by bank transfer to my UK account.

By Rabiul on 08-Aug-2025Hazel's place was perfectly described. There was a fully functional kitchen and the place was big enough for the five of us. The Big swimming pool made us so happy and house was nice and clean. About twelve minutes walking to get to the beach and bus stop very convenient as it could take us to various destinations such as: Malaga fuengirola Marbella etc. A 10min walk away from the house was a small supermarket and bit further down was a Lidl it was very helpful to get your weekly shop. I had a little bit of issues with my children if you are only walking back home because of the slightly hilly, for me it was fun though it was a good leg workout. Many thanks to Hazel for hosting she was really helpful and responsible.
