We have been lucky enough to stay at this relaxing 'home from home' twice now and recommend it highly. From the warm and efficient booking process, the arrangements to greet us at the villa and the outstanding position of the villa itself....we can't fault it. We mostly ate out because of the short walk to Mojacar Playa and the huge variety of excellent restaurants, but when we did eat in, it was lovely to have use of a full oven and hob, relax on the sofas, watch UK tv channels via the smart tv or stream a film using the excellent Wi-Fi and our own apps. We had plenty of hot water in both bathrooms, the beds are super comfy and the washing machine, large fridge freezer and dishwasher were also A1. Also a bonus to find plenty of cleaning and bathroom products along with a few essential provisions (and wine) on arrival. My favourite spot to relax was on the massive rooftop solarium with panoramic views of both bright blue sea in one direction and then rotating round to the atmospheric hills behind. In addition, the veranda area off the ground floor (which can be enclosed if needed) has a great view of the pretty gardens and pool area. we have always found the complex to be quiet and it is beautifully maintained. The Spanish and English neighbours were all lovely, friendly but not intrusive. We will definitely return, warmest thanks to the owner for going the extra mile to yet again make our stay memorable.
We stayed in Mojacar during an extremely hot spell but honestly it was one of the best holidays we have had. The villa itself is truly home from home and with 3 children it was perfect. You can tell its a much loved home. It was spotless and so comfortable. The air conditioning was a gift and made all the difference. The beds were super comfy too. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more! Sitting out on the terrace was pure heaven and we didn't want to leave. The pool was the best pool we have ever had and well maintained too. What's not to love about a pool just outside your gate! The location of the villa was fantastic... Near the playa but also far enough away from busy, bustling bars and restaurants. We had no problem strolling down and back in the evening and it was a very pleasant walk. We had a car and although you could manage without one we made good use of it for day trips out and about. We fell in love with the old town and a coffee or beer in the square was just heaven. Dealing with Ros was an utter pleasure and seamless throughout. We are extremely grateful that she allowed us stay in her beloved home and would not hesitate to stay there again. We genuinely do not have any negative comments to make. The whole experience and vibe of the villa and Mojacar was a very positive one. Thank you again from a very happy family. ️
Amazing place and amazing all over 5 of 5 We stayed in Casa Roja recently for 10 days and could not of asked for anything better! The apartment is amazing from top to bottom and is in a perfect location. It was great customer service from the beginning and Val who checked us in was extremely helpful and lovely. There was everything we could of possibly needed, the apartment is fully stocked for everything - towels, bedding etc and a fully equipped kitchen, even English TV if you fancy it and wifi! The pool was lovely, although chilly when we were there! The beach, shops and restaurants/bars are all literally at the bottom of the hill (10min walk) so perfect for a little stroll. We loved Dolce Vita for breakfast, the best view I've ever had breakfast to! All in all not a bad word to say about anything. Would not hesitate to book here again and I definitely will be booking again! Recommend this to anyone 100%! Date of Stay: March 2018
