2 Bedrooms holiday apartment rental in Moraira (Central Moraira)

This is a smartly refurbished, and very comfortable and welcoming ground-floor apartment, near the centre of Moraira Town, and very near to the Beach and the Marina with its myriad bars and restaurants. It has a new shower-room, new open-plan kitchen, good-sized sitting and dining areas, double bedroom with built-in wardrobe and a second bedroom with a bed that can be either single, twin or double, also with built-in wardrobe. Half-obscure-glazed double doors lead from sunny living area into bedroom 2, which stays cooler in hot weather (and is also very secure) since it has no outside wall.

There is a long, but slender terrace accessed by both the main bedroom and living room, and from here you can sit in the cool of the evening - either watching the world go by on its way into Moraira or looking across to the villa-dotted hills in the near-distance. There is also a large shared pool (with large divided-off shallow section for kiddies) which was completely refurbished in the winter of 2018, on the roof terrace, which is open June - October, There are shady trees in the gardens to the front of the apartments, and a kiddies playground. There is a small (seasonally opening) fun-fair within walking distance specifically aimed at younger children.

There is an air-conditioning unit which can also be used for heating during cooler weather and, for shade in summer there are awnings on the terrace and roll-down blinds on the windows, together with mosquito netting. The window blinds also give added security, and there is a telephone operated entry-phone system which is connected to the main door of the block so that callers can be screened.

There is an allocated space in the secure parking area beneath the apartments, which will keep your car cool during the summer months, and there is pedestrian access from there to the foyer via stairs or lifts.

In the living area is a comfortable, sturdy and very easily operated sofa-bed which contains ample storage space to keep its bedding out of the way during the day. There is also plenty of hanging, drawer and shelf space to cater for 6 people if required, and more than enough seating, crockery and cutlery to go round.

We have a supermarket just a one minutes walk away which is open from 08.00 - 02.00 EVERY day!

Moraira's green hillsides are dotted with beautiful individual white-washed villas with some low-rise Spanish-style apartments. No tower blocks are in evidence thanks to strict planning measures. Shady pine woods, citrus groves and vine terracing make a pretty and relaxing setting for those wanting a holiday away from the package tour crowds. This is an area almost exclusively settled by villa owners and used by the independent holiday-maker, although there is plenty of life and movement in and around the Town, and visitors are made to feel very welcome. There are 2 safe, sandy beaches with beach-bars, and numerous little rocky coves up and down the coast. The town has grown from a small fishing village into an attractive holiday resort which retains its local charm . . . and its fish - if you like fish you will love Moraira! There is an abundance of restaurants, bars and smart little shops which crowd around the harbour-side and popular marina, not to mention some very friendly Tapas Bars, and all of this is within just a few minutes walk from the apartment - so no need for a car if you prefer to take a taxi to/from the airport . . . although we would recommend one in order for you to take full advantage of the area. There is also a shared mini-bus service from Alicante Airport with a drop off point 100 metres from the apartment. Google 'Beniconnect'.

The beautiful 9-hole Moraira golf-course with a poolside bar/restaurant and magical views down to the sea is open to non-members and is within a few minutes drive, with the popular 18-hole course at Jesus Pobre and the 9-hole course at Javea about 15 minutes away by car. Nearby are tennis courts, water sports, boat hire and trips, horse-riding and go-kart racing. A little further away are the coastal resorts of Javea (15 mins. by car) with its beautiful sandy horse-shoe bay bordered by beach bars and restaurants, Denia with its long, sandy beach and pretty Calpe in the other direction. The local wine-making area of the Jalon valley, surrounded by mountains is also about 20 mins. drive away, and from here you can venture further into the spectacular mountain scenery - perfect for those who enjoy walking, cycling or climbing. Moraira is only 40 minutes drive from the livelier Benidorm which is close to Terra Mitica (a Disney style theme park) and Aqualandia Water Park.


£60 'end clean' charge will be added to the prices below together with £10 per person per week for bedding and towels. The 30% discount available for bookings of 28 nights and above (guests to launder the bedding and towels themselves) is not available for the main summer weeks. Beach towels available to hire for £3.50 to cover the laundry charges.

Just returned from a lovely relaxing holiday in Moraira. I had never visited this area of Spain before and would definitely like to return to do a bit more exploring.

Central location. Clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Quiet and comfortable. We had a great stay and would definitely book this apartment again.

Exploring Moraira

This was my first visit to Moraira and the apartment was perfectly placed for exploring the area. The beach, the shops and supermarkets as well as restaurants and even the market were all within easy walking distance. James was on hand to answer any queries and being there on my own I felt safe and secure. All in all a very good experience.
