By Simon on 21-Aug-2025My daughters and I stayed at Casa Golondrina last week for three nights. It was just what we wanted. The accommodation was perfect for us with 2 single beds in one room and a large double in the main bedroom which was also en suite. The kitchen was well stocked and we didn't want for anything. The outside area is where we spent most of our time and ate all of our meals. The charcoal BBQ was excellent but there is also a gas BBQ if you prefer. The pool area had sun loungers and parasols and it was a treat to have our own pool to use whenever we wanted. We enjoyed late night swims after returning to the villa after having dinner at the local restaurants. There are several restaurants within a 10 minute walk and even more if you walk a bit further towards the sea. You may need to book for dinner if you choose one of the more upmarket/popular venues. A real gem for me was a little patisserie 10 minutes walk from the villa on the main road. Excellent coffee and the best pain au chocolate!

The property is huge and the pool super nice and well maintained. There is even a sun terrace and a private barbecue area. The property is in the morning sun, so we were woken up by the sun every morning - simply fantastic. Even inside, the villa leaves nothing to be desired and everything is spotlessly clean. We have never stayed in such a great place to stay after many years of Airbnb. Also the price-performance ratio is just super good. Mark and Christine were the best managers you could want. They were super accommodating and extremely friendly. They even took care of drinks and a breakfast for us. You feel very well taken care of. Thank you for this holiday experience! We will be back!

The villa is extremely well equipped, has a lovely light interior and layout, several area to sit outside enjoying the sun and pool. Nice quiet private location with easy access to Moraira, restaurants and other facilities. We’d love to come back.
