Description


A charming, restored Flour Mill with private swimming pool (6m x 4m), situated in the peaceful countryside of Andalucia. Just 50 mins drive from Malaga Airport and 6 minutes drive to the typical white village of Periana where you will find all the local shops and amenities required for a perfect stay.

The area is beautiful surrounded by olive groves, fruit trees, nature, rivers and mountains and is suitable for families, friends sharing, hikers and ramblers to explore or simply relax and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway.

The Mill is a historic building and was once a bakery which supplied bread to the local community. It was restored keeping many original features, including the original machinery and bread oven creating the wonderful atmosphere and rustic charm. The property has 10 steps leading up to the upper gardens and pool area. There is Air Conditioning and Heating.

The house has a front entrance with a terrace and seating area, the front door leads you into an open-plan fully fitted kitchen, dining & living room with wood burner. On this ground level there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with and a bathroom with wash basin, shower, toilet and bidet.

Up 10 steps there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with wash basin, shower, toilet and bidet. This upper level leads outside to the al fresco dining area, terrace, swimming pool, BBQ, gardens and lounging areas.

All the windows are fitted with mosquito nets.

Due to the location of the property a car is required. Parking is directly outside the house. Guests are advised to travel with adequate Health Insurance.

Pets: are allowed, by request only.

Our Cancellation Policy:

Deposit: 30% of the total is required to secure the booking.
Balance: 70% of the total is required 6 weeks before the date of arrival.
If cancelled 30 days or more before the date of arrival 70% of the total will be refunded.

A perfect place to spend a few quiet days with my family.

It was the perfect place to spend a few quiet days with my family. We had a wonderful time. The upstairs terrace is really beautiful with an idyllic setting and a wonderful private pool. It was everything we needed. Louisa and Julio are very friendly hosts who were at our disposal throughout our stay. A big thank you to you it was great

Louisa and Julio are great hosts. We felt welcome and taken care of. We came with small children and Louisa organised the cot and the chair for us in advance. The place is nice and clean. Sometimes it was too hot, especially at night. But I believe they will be installing the AC soon. We had a great time - slow living. The place is fairly far from most big cities, so we drove a lot. Overall very happy.

Perfect place for peace and tranquility. We had a wonderful stay and Louisa was great - very friendly, helpful and provided clear instructions and directions and full of local knowledge. Amazing private outdoor space with a pool which isn’t overlooked but you have views right across the valley. Lots of wildlife, completely surrounded by nature. We couldn’t fault it!
