Description

Villa Marie is a gorgeous private south facing villa, with stunning panoramic views out to the Atlantic Ocean, Montana Roja and across to Fuerteventura, and is located in the quiet and exclusive residential neighbourhood of Los Calamares, (a community of beautifully maintained, low rise and spacious residential villas), one of the closest to the centre of town and is a mere 5 minutes walk away into the town centre with waterfront bars, restaurants, shops and beaches.

In the fitted kitchen there is a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, hob, full sized oven, and all cooking utensils required. There is also a separate dining area.

The modern lounge has a leather suite, 55 inch television, IPTV package which offers full Sky packages including Movies, Sports and all British channels and more. A DVD player is also available. There is a separate small snug just off the lounge, with a separate TV for the use of the PS4 (just bring your own controllers and games), or can be used as a quiet area for reading.

Patio doors from the lounge and the back two bedrooms give access to an terrace with outside dining. From there are stairs leading to the roof terrace (where there is a seating area and you can enjoy a relaxing drink whilst taking in the glorious sea views). There are steps down to a lower patio area with a newly constructed heated pool in Dec 2019 (8x3 m) with non slip tiles, sun beds and a seating area for 6. The pool will be heated from October to March using the pool heater and solar panels, and between April to September via solar panel only.

The villa is all on one level with three spacious bedrooms. There are two bedrooms with king size beds to the rear with patio doors opening onto the terrace. One has an ensuite shower room and the other has a full bathroom opposite. Both have coin operated air conditioning. The third bedroom has two large single beds and an ensuite shower room.

*There is a weekly cleaning service for stays of 11 or more days. Extra cleaning is available at an additional cost.
*Hair dryers are supplied and fan heaters in case of a rare chilly evening.

*The villa has non slip tiling throughout (inside and outside)

General Information about your stay

We currently live in the UK, so the cleaning and maintenance of the self catering villa is carried out by a local professional management team who are contactable throughout your stay if there are any problems. We are also contactable should any problem need to be escalated.

There is a locked private community tennis court for residents/guests only, just a couple of minutes away.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We will only accept bookings for families with children over the age of 10 who are competent swimmers for safety reasons and also that the roof terrace connects with the main villa roof ( which does not have safety barriers).

The villa is fully registered for holiday lettings. Licence no VV-35-3-0003511. Passport information will need to be supplied for all guests staying at the villa.

Minimum 7 night stay, except for over Christmas / New Year when a minimum of 10 days is required.

We will not accept bookings for hen or stag party groups, nor all male or all female groups.

Prices quoted are for up to 4 guests and based on 2 bedrooms being occupied. For each additional guest or the 3rd bedroom being used there will be an additional charge of £20 per person per night.

We ask for a £200 refundable damage deposit on bookings to cover any damage that may occur during your stay. This will be due with the final balance of your holiday.

Payments to be made by bank transfer or cheque. We don’t accept credit card. Payment can also be made in EUROS and a revised quote can be provided using the European Bank exchange rate at the time.

Price includes admin charge .

Getting there

Playa Blanca is around 33km from Arrecife airport. You may transfer by:

- Hire car (of which there are plenty of operators at the airport)
- Bus - This goes to the main bus station in Playa Blanca, less than 5 minutes from the villa but please note that the bus may detour via Arrecife, adding time to your journey.
- Taxi – There is a large taxi rank outside ‘Arrivals’.
-Shuttle mini bus- Firstminute-transfer.com-a private mini bus starts at around €100 for 4 people. Quotes can be obtained from the website. VIVA transfers have also been recommended to us although we haven’t personally used them.
