Description
Casa Marie underwent complete renovation during 2022 and is a large south facing detached villa located in the quiet and exclusive residential neighbourhood of Los Calamares, (a community of beautifully maintained, low rise and spacious residential villas), one of the closest to the centre of town and is a mere 5-10 minutes walk away into the town centre with waterfront bars, restaurants, shops and restaurants.In the fitted kitchen there is an American style double fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, hob, full sized oven, and all cooking utensils required. There is an Island with seating for 4 and a 6 seater dining table
The modern lounge has a 65 inch television, IPTV package which offers full Sky packages including Movies, Sports and all British channels and more. There is a separate small snug just off the dining area.
Patio doors from the lounge and kitchen give access to a terrace with outside kitchen/BBQ and 8 seater dining area. This terrace continues to outside the front two bedrooms where there is a sofa area. From the glass enclosed terrace are steps and a ramp leading down to a lower patio area with a 10 x 5 m heated pool with non slip tiles, sun beds and another 10 seater sofa area beneath a pergoda. The pool will be heated from October to March using the pool heater. The outbuilding next to the pergola has patio doors and inside is a pool table.
The villa is all on one level with 4 spacious bedrooms. There are 3 king size bedrooms with ensuite walk in shower rooms, 2 of which have coin operated air conditioning and patio doors opening onto the terrace overlooking the pool.. There is 1 twin bedded room which has its own dedicated shower room. The 2 bedrooms at the back have fans.
*All linen and towels for inside and outside are provided.
*There is a weekly cleaning service for stays of 11 or more days. Extra cleaning is available at an additional cost.
*Hair dryers are supplied.

*The villa has non slip tiling throughout (inside and outside)
General Information about your stay
We currently live in the UK, so the cleaning and maintenance of the self catering villa is carried out by a local professional management team who are contactable throughout your stay if there are any problems. We are also contactable should any problem need to be escalated.
There is a locked private community tennis court for residents/guests only, just a couple of minutes away. There is also a communal pool that will be reopening shortly.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We will only accept bookings for families with children over the age of 10 who are competent swimmers for safety reasons.
The villa is fully registered for holiday lettings. Licence no VV-35-3-0005242 Passport information will need to be supplied for all guests staying at the villa.

Minimum 7 night stay, except for over Christmas / New Year when a minimum of 10 days is required.
We will not accept bookings for hen or stag party groups, nor all male or all female groups.
Prices quoted are for up to 4 guests and based on 2 bedrooms being occupied. For each additional guest OR the 3rd or 4th bedroom being used there will be an additional charge of £20 per person per night.
We ask for a £300 refundable damage deposit on bookings to cover any damage that may occur during your stay. This will be due with the final balance of your holiday.
Payments to be made by bank transfer or cheque. We don’t accept credit card. Payment can also be made in EUROS and a revised quote can be provided using the European Bank exchange rate at the time.
Price includes IGIC/admin charge .

Getting there
Playa Blanca is around 33km from Arrecife airport. You may transfer by:
- Hire car (of which there are plenty of operators at the airport)
- Bus - This goes to the main bus station in Playa Blanca, less than 5 minutes from the villa but please note that the bus may detour via Arrecife, adding time to your journey.
- Taxi – There is a large taxi rank outside ‘Arrivals’.
-Shuttle mini bus- Firstminute-transfer.com-a private mini bus starts at around €100 for 4 people. Quotes can be obtained from the website. Also Sunshine Days is recommended. Happy to provide contact info. Max of 4 people.

Leave ReviewWow - what an impressive villa.
By James L on 26-Oct-2025We needed a villa that catered for my family and also my elderly Mum, who has mobility issues and so needed somewhere that could be accessed with a mobility scooter. We managed to find Casa Marie via Simply Owners and wow, what a find! The villa was immaculate, extremely spacious, both inside & outside and had been recently renovated to a high specification. The villa had everything we needed and more - everything about the villa was very impressive. Location was perfect for us being in a quiet area but also close enough to restaurants that were only a short walk away. Marie was excellent and provided us with all the information we needed and answered any questions we had very promptly. Would highly recommend - we had the perfect holiday.

The communication with Marie was fantastic from start to finish—friendly, responsive, and helpful, which made everything so easy. The location was ideal, especially for my elderly parents, with everything we needed close by and easy to access. The villa itself was beautiful, well-equipped, and very comfortable, with excellent facilities that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-managed holiday home. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Wow ! Absolutely perfect

Was blown away by what a wonderful villa it was , immaculate , literally everything you could ever need , ten times bigger than the photos which don’t do it justice in our opinion . Pool was gorgeous and a huge hit . Few mins to bus station , supermarket ,shops , cafe and of course the sea! 15 min walk to aqua park . Marie was amazing before during and after our booking and we will 100% be back ! Thank you Marie
Best Villa Ever
By The Murchie’s on 23-Jun-2024This is our 10th time renting a villa in Lanzarote and I can safely say Cara Marie is by far the best villa we have stayed in over the last 7 years!!! All other villa were lovely but Casa Marie is definitely 5 star. Huge outside space with 3 different shaded seating areas, they are so comfy. The pool is huge and heated so you can enjoy morning to night. Plenty sun loungers and wee tables and the outside towels are supplied for you. Inside the villa is stunning, it’s open planned and modern with all you could want. The sofa in the living area is really comfy and all the Sky channels you have at home . The kitchen has everything you could think of, the ice machine on the freezer was ideal and the filtered tap a godsend, no lugging bottles of water from the supermarket. The bedrooms are a great sizes and beds are super comfy. The location of the villa is ideal, 7 min stroll to all the restaurants and bars and supermarkets. Marie was lovely from initial contact and made the booking process simple. She was on hand for any question before and during our stay, so lovely and friendly. I cannot rave enough about this villa, it’s 1 class.
Lovely villa

Great location 10 min walk from many lovely restaurants. Marie was amazing and really helpful with quick responses to any questions. Will definitely be returning.

Amazing villa
By Julie on 02-Mar-2024We booked this villa as a last minute break for 4 of us desperate to get away for some sun. Marie responded to our queries immediately and made the booking process very simple. The villa was amazing …. We could not fault any of it. We honestly did not want to leave. Very central yet very quiet. Best of everything in the villa and the outside area was the nicest we have had in any of the previous villas we have stayed in. 4 huge bedrooms, 2 of which go out directly to the pool area. The living and kitchen area was the biggest we have seen. Marie also gave us some amazing recommendations of where to eat. We will definitely be booking again.
