Casa Marie is currently undergoing complete renovation and is a large south facing villa located in the quiet and exclusive residential neighbourhood of Los Calamares, (a community of beautifully maintained, low rise and spacious residential villas), one of the closest to the centre of town and is a mere 5 minutes walk away into the town centre with waterfront bars, restaurants, shops and beaches. The renovation should be complete hopefully in the next couple of weeks so by mid Oct 2022. More pictures will be added next week as the bathrooms, kitchen and pool should be finished. In the fitted kitchen there will be an American style double fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, hob, full sized oven, and all cooking utensils required. There will also be an Island with seating for 4 and a 6 seater dining table
The modern lounge will have a 65 inch television, IPTV package which offers full Sky packages including Movies, Sports and all British channels and more. There is a separate small snug just off the dining area.
Patio doors from the lounge and kitchen give access to a terrace with outside kitchen/BBQ and 8 seater dining area. This terrace continues to outside the front two bedrooms where there is a sofa area. From the glass enclosed terrace are steps and a ramp leading down to a lower patio area with a 10 x 5 m heated pool with non slip tiles, sun beds and another 10 seater sofa area beneath a pergoda. The pool will be heated from October to March using the pool heater. There will be an outside solar heated shower. The outbuilding next to the pergola will have patio doors and inside will be a pool table.
The villa is all on one level with 4 spacious bedrooms. There are 3 king size bedrooms with ensuite walk in shower rooms, 2 of which have coin operated air conditioning and patio doors opening onto the terrace overlooking the pool.. There is 1 twin bedded room which has its own dedicated shower room. The 2 bedrooms at the back have fans.
*All linen and towels for inside and outside are provided.
*There is a weekly cleaning service for stays of 11 or more days. Extra cleaning is available at an additional cost.
*Hair dryers are supplied and fan heaters in case of a rare chilly evening.

*The villa has non slip tiling throughout (inside and outside)
General Information about your stay
We currently live in the UK, so the cleaning and maintenance of the self catering villa is carried out by a local professional management team who are contactable throughout your stay if there are any problems. We are also contactable should any problem need to be escalated.
There is a locked private community tennis court for residents/guests only, just a couple of minutes away. There is also a communal pool that will be reopening shortly.
We will only accept bookings for families with children over the age of 10 who are competent swimmers for safety reasons.
The villa will be fully registered for holiday lettings. Licence no TBC.. Passport information will need to be supplied for all guests staying at the villa.
Minimum 7 night stay, except for over Christmas / New Year when a minimum of 10 days is required.
We will not accept bookings for hen or stag party groups, nor all male or all female groups.
Prices quoted are for up to 4 guests and based on 2 bedrooms being occupied. For each additional guest or the 3rd and 4th bedroom being used there will be an additional charge of £20 per person per night.
We ask for a £300 refundable damage deposit on bookings to cover any damage that may occur during your stay. This will be due with the final balance of your holiday.
Payments to be made by bank transfer or cheque. We don’t accept credit card. Payment can also be made in EUROS and a revised quote can be provided using the European Bank exchange rate at the time.

Playa Blanca is around 33km from Arrecife airport. You may transfer by:
- Hire car (of which there are plenty of operators at the airport)
- Bus - This goes to the main bus station in Playa Blanca, less than 5 minutes from the villa but please note that the bus may detour via Arrecife, adding time to your journey.
- Taxi – There is a large taxi rank outside ‘Arrivals’ but please note that these will be more expensive than pre-booking in advance of your holiday..
-Shuttle mini bus- Firstminute-transfer.com-a mini bus starts at around €100 for 4 people. Quotes can be obtained from the website. VIVA transfers have also been recommended to us although we haven’t personally used them.
