Description
Casa Lagarto is a four bedroomed, detached villa with private heated pool situated in the popular Parque del Rey area of Playa Blanca, very central to Playa Blanca, and 15 to 20 minutes walk to the town centre and seafront. Casa Lagarto has lots of outdoor space and mature gardens. The villa is all on one level. You enter the house into the light and airy lounge, which has comfortable leather sofas and chairs, and TV with UK and international channels, movies and music. The lounge opens into the dining room, where there is a large table and chairs, and patio doors lead onto the terraces and pool area.The well-equipped kitchen has oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, and lots of crockery, cutlery and cookware. The kitchen leads into the utility room where there is a washing machine, dryer, and microwave. There are four airconditioned bedrooms. Air conditioning is coin-operated. Bedroom 1 has a king-sized bed and an en suite bathroom with toilet, bath, bidet, washbasin and shower. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. Bedroom 3 has two single beds. Bedroom 4 has a double bed and a single bed. All bedrooms have windows, wardrobes and mirrors. The family bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin.
The villa is surrounded by high lava stone walls. At the front of the house is the 6.5m x 3.75m private pool, which has a cover. The pool has Roman steps for easy access, and is heated all year round (pool heating is included in the rental price). The pool is surrounded by eight sunloungers. Pool towels are provided. There is also a table and chairs by the pool. The pool area has sun for much of the day and is a lovely, comfortable place to relax. To the side of the house is a shaded pergola dining area with table and chairs, a cosy seating area, and a Canarian BBQ. There is parking for one car on the driveway, and additional parking directly outside the villa. The property has lots of extras including hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and safety deposit box (free to use). There is also an alarm system for added security. We provide a welcome pack with wine, water, juice, beer, milk, tea, coffee and biscuits, 4 toilet rolls, kitchen roll, dishcloth, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, hand soap.
Casa Lagarto’s location makes it popular with guests who want to be within an easy 15 minute walk of Playa Blanca’s town centre and seafront, where you’ll find a great variety of restaurants, shops and bars.

Enjoyable stay in Casa Lagarto
By Christine Slater on 24-Sep-2025The villa was ideally located, about a 10-15 minutes walk to the centre. The 4 bedrooms are all air conditioned (coin operated) ideal for hot nights. The pool temperature was just right, and was used everyday of our stay. Pool towels are also provided. A welcome pack was provided too which was ideal. Gill was very helpful both before and during our stay. The pool was cleaned by Andy, three during our 14 nights stay and Helena kindly changed the bedding and towels after one week. There is also a washing machine and dishwasher if required I would happily stay in Casa Lagarto again

Just got back from this lovely villa
By Jan on 12-Sep-2025It has everything you want in a home from home, away from any noise, lots of sunshine and a lovely pool. Shady outside eating area, essential for our lunch and drinks! Absolutely spotless and well kept. There were seven of us, we all got showered and dressed without queuing. A short walk into town for food shopping, cab back, very reasonable, 6 euros for a seven seater, most of the restaurants and bars overlook the sea, we didn't venture far as this area had everything you could need for a relaxing week', All true!! We had a lovely week,

11 night stay end of August 2025
By Jo ONeill on 17-Aug-2025We stayed at the Casa Lagarto, Playa Blanca for 11 nights at the end of August 2025. There were 7 of us (my husband, 2 daughters - their boyfriends & my son) the Villa was perfect!! Casa Lagarto was home from home, it is clean & very spacious and the bbq, gazebo with private pool made it the ideal place to relax and enjoy some family time in the sun. The villa is only a 15min walk into Playa Blanca and we usually got a very reasonable (£5 approx) taxi back. Gill was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful, she is just a phone call away should you need to contact her. All in all a wonderful break and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this villa.

Wow, Simply Wow!
By Ann on 16-Aug-2025What a fantastic time we had. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The villa is absolutely superb! With good restaurants to suit all tastes within walking distance. We have made plenty of our time here from the heady heights of Timanfaya (note to arrive at gates by 08.00 to avoid the long queues), to sailing from the harbour at Playa Blanca, and wine tasting at El Grifo was an absolute gem. The villa was absolutely fabulous for all our needs, even our son turning 15 was easily catered for by the local Jungle Vibes restaurant, who spoiled him rotten. We were inspired to have BBQ, paella and tapas nights, which made use of all the facilities to hand. We are looking forward to our next visit as soon as possible.
