Casa Lydia is a beautiful, spacious, detached air-conditioned villa which has a private pool and hot tub and is located in the peaceful residential urbanisation of La Carabela, in the Faro Park area of Playa Blanca. Faro Park is on the western side of Playa Blanca, 5 kms from the centre of town.

There are a selection of local Bars/Cafes, small supermarkets, and numerous superb restaurants around a 5 minute walk away which makes this villa situated in an area that is very self-sufficient. It is just a short stroll to the picturesque seafront promenade which runs all the way from the lighthouse into the centre of Playa Blanca itself and the small sandy Playa de Montaña Roja beach is just a short walk along the promenade so you are not far from all the amenities.

The front door opens into the bright double height hallway that creates a very light and spacious feel to the villa and this leads to the open plan kitchen and the living room, the marble staircase leads up to the first floor master suite with roof terrace, providing both views of the sea and the stunning backdrop of the Montana Roja volcano from the upper terrace
Living/Dining Room:
The spacious lounge has been tastefully furnished and decorated and has a two-seater and three-seater red leather settees with a coffee table and side table. The Villa has two TV’s, one in the main lounge which is a Smart 50” TV, and this has TV supplied via the internet and a Mag box, on this you will find box sets and films, together with terrestrial and Sky channels for your enjoyment. You will also be able to access your own subscription services via the associated apps on the home page. There are French doors that lead out to an outdoor dining area, sun terrace and the pool area.
The kitchen is situated off the hallway and has a breakfast bar which is open plan to the lounge. The kitchen has everything you might need for a self-catering holiday including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, hob and oven and coffee machine.
Dining Room/Garden Room:
The door from the kitchen leads into the indoor dining area which can seat 6 persons, along with a further large L shaped settee providing ample space in this villa for chilling out and relaxing. There are two large sliding doors from this area one leads out to the side garden where you will find terrace and grassed areas the hot tub and boules area. The opposite side of the garden room the large sliding door leads out to the outside dining area pool and BBQ area, both of these areas can be accessed from the outside areas also. The second TV can be found in this area whilst it is not connected to a MAG box, it is available for connection to guests' own devices via a HDMI cable which is available at the villa.
From the garden room you will find a door that leads onto a bathroom where the washing machine is located along with a sink, WC and Walk in shower giving easy access from the pool area.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
The villa offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms
Bedroom 1:
The master bedroom is upstairs and has a king size bed, two bedside tables with reading lamps and a separate dressing area which has plenty of wardrobe space with a dressing table, mirror and chair this room has air conditioning (coin operated) patio doors lead out onto a large balcony where you will find two sun beds for your use. You have fabulous views from this balcony of the sea and across to Fuerteventura, and Montana Roja This bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with both a large walk-in shower with a separate bath, a WC and Bidet and a large marble topped sink area.
Bedroom 2:
The second bedroom is on the ground floor and has a King Size bed with bedside tables and reading lamps, plenty of wardrobe space and drawer space and a window that overlooks the pool. This bedroom also has air conditioning (coin operated).
Bedroom 3:
The third bedroom is on the ground floor and has twin beds side by side with bedside tables and reading lamps, plenty of wardrobe space and a window that overlooks the pool. This bedroom also has air conditioning (coin operated).
Family Bathroom (second bathroom):
The Family bathroom is next to bedrooms 2 and 3 on the ground floor. It has a wash basin, WC, Vanity mirror and shower over bath.
Shower room:
The third bathroom is off the garden room and has a walk in shower, wash basin and a WC which gives easy access from the pool and hot tub areas.

Pool, Hot tub and Sun Terraces:
The beautifully landscaped garden features artificial grass and various terrace area wrapped around the property. In front of the property you will find the private 8m x 4m pool (electrically heated, inclusive 1st October to 31st May), with Roman steps for easy access. Sun beds are available for 6 persons to enable you to soak up the sun. You have plenty of room to move around the different terrace and garden areas to chase the sun all day on one of your comfortable sun beds. There is a separate pergola area to the side garden for those that need the shade. The hot tub is situated in the garden to the side of the property and gives you maximum privacy to relax and chill, you will also find the boules area at the back of the side garden.
Al fresco Dining with BBQ:
From the lounge French doors, you will find the outside dining table and chairs with seating for 6 persons set under the shaded pergola that leads onto a grassed area, pool and to the charcoal Canarian BBQ.
Landscaped gardens surround the detached property which is fully enclosed by traditional piedra walls.

The villa is protected by a Verisure intruder alarm monitoring system which has internal cameras in communal areas which take photos when the alarm is set off.
It is approximately 5 kms out of Playa Blanca but situated within easy access to the seafront promenade which runs all the way from the lighthouse into Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. You will find a row of local Bars/Cafes, small supermarkets and numerous superb restaurants around a 5–10-minute walk away from the villa, which makes this villa situated in an area that is very self-sufficient.
The town centre of Playa Blanca is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride away and there are reliable and inexpensive bus and taxi services allowing you to explore all areas easily.
The readily available taxi service cost to/from town centre from the villa is approximately €6.00 (2024)

There is dedicated parking space next to the villa.
Cleaning Service:
Fully prepared for arrival and departure clean included. Additional cleaning/change of linen & towels provided weekly or mid stay for stays of 10 to 13 nights. All linen and bath/hand/tea towels provided. Pool/beach towels are provided for your convenience.

Prices and Occupancy:
Prices are based on up to 4 people sharing. Guests over 4 have a supplement charge. A refundable Damage Bond of 400€ is payable, if the Accidental Damage Waiver is not taken.
