Villa ALICIA is a VERY SECLUDED extremely SPACIOUS DETACHED MODERN villa which has been tastefully furnished to a design concept which radiates quality whilst maintaining a modern and contemporary look.

It is exceptionally WELL EQUIPPED and offers all the comforts of home and MUCH MORE.
It is set in a small private GATED UP MARKET development in PLAYA BLANCA which benefits from having a CCTV SECURITY SYSTEM which is in operation on the entrance gate and throughout the development 24 HOURS A DAY.

Villa Alicia sits on the lower slopes of Montana Roja (extinct volcano !) and is only a 15/25 min walk to the the safe beach of PLAYA FLAMINGO and the village of PLAYA BLANCA respectively.

PRIVACY and SECLUSION

The villa is very PRIVATE in that it is NOT OVERLOOKED in relation to the EXCEPTIONALLY LARGE attractive sub tropical garden, pool and terrace areas which are surrounded by HIGH VOLCANIC WALLS.

This creates a TRANQUIL OASIS which is both SAFE and QUIET for adults and children alike - allowing everyone to enjoy a holiday which is relaxing and peaceful .

The villa is fortunate in being positioned at a HIGHER level than the villas below which contributes to its SECLUSION and PRIVACY. Additionally it is favourably positioned being in the middle of the small development of VILLAS BLANCAS and thus does NOT back onto or front onto any MAIN ROAD. The QUIET ONE WAY ROAD at the front of the villa is an internal access road for the VILLAS BLANCAS development ONLY.

ACCOMMODATION

Villa Alicia has extremely SPACIOUS BRIGHT and AIRY accommodation throughout which includes - two LARGE bedrooms (both have built in wardrobes) - one with a FULL EN SUITE bathroom along with a SECOND FULL main bathroom (both bathrooms have WINDOWS) , a roomy lounge WITH TRIPLE ASPECT VIEW of the pool, garden and terrace areas.

Also a VERY LARGE self contained OPEN PLAN kitchen/ dining area leading out to a SEPARATE LARGE TERRACE with BBQ which is ideal for al fresco eating.

All the rooms in the villa are ON ONE LEVEL and have patio doors with LOCKABLE EXTERNAL SHUTTERS to both bedrooms - these shutters have built in MOSQUITO screens.

This gives the SECURITY of being able to leave the internal sliding doors in both bedrooms OPEN to allow the CANARIAN BREEZES into the bedrooms at night if needed.

The villa wraps itself around the spacious terrace/pool areas ALL OF THE ROOMS throughout the villa have sliding LOCKABLE PATIO DOORS taking you strait out to the TWO SPACIOUS terraces plus HEATED pool and EXPANSIVE SUB TROPICAL GARDEN.

THE POOL

The sun shines on the pool ALL DAY. The LARGE swimming pool (8 m x 4 m) has ROMAN steps for EASY ACCESS .

.The depth of the pool is 0.6 m at the shallow end and 1.8 m at the deep end.

The pool is HEATED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR by a combination of solar and electric heating. ELECRIC HEATING to the pool IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICES LISTED for the period early/mid NOVEMBER (depending on climatic conditions) - END OF MARCH INCLUSIVE.

From APRIL through to early/mid NOVEMBER the pool is heated by solar panels situated on the roof. This heating is EXREMELY EFFECTIVE and keeps the pool VERY COMFORTABLY WARM. The cost of supplying SOLAR heating is INCLUDED IN THE PRICES LISTED.

A plastic storage box in the garden contains a variety of pool inflatables and toys, scuba masks and buckets and spades for the beach.

VIEWS

There are lovely views up to the mountains and the mountain village of FEMES from the terrace areas surrounding the pool.

The villa has TWO VERY LARGE SEPARATE terraces offering both SUN and SHADE.
Comfortable sunbeds are provided to absorb the rays !
Along with tables and chairs for eating outside on both separate terraces in addition a BBQ is provided

A dining table is also provided INTERNALLY in the large kitchen/diner for those chillier nights.

LOCATION

Two local mini markets, the Playa Blanca local bus service which does a circular route all around Playa Blanca and a taxi rank are all ONLY a 3 minute walk away.
Also the new Lidl supermarket which is new to Playa Blanca is a 2-3 minute drive away or a 25 minute walk away. If you decide to walk to Lidle's it is easy to arrange for a taxi to pick you up and bring you back with goods to the villa.

It is possible therefore to stay at the villa WITHOUT the need to HIRE A CAR depending on your own preferences and personal needs and what you want to do and see whilst on the island.

Their is a central bus station in Playa Blanca which takes you to destinations ALL ACROSS the island including the AIRPORT.

The nearest bar/restaurant Baileys Bar is located in the Jardines del Sol development ( 4 minutes walk away) BREAKFAST is also served here . We have had very positive reports regarding the Bar/Restaurant from clients who have stayed at the villa.
We leave discount vouchers of a value of 15 % off in the client folder for your use.

The NEAREST BEACH to the villa PLAYA FLAMINGO is a 15 minute walk away. Behind the beach on the coastal pathway are a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars.

A new aqua park "Aqua Lava"" is a 10 minute walk away. Also a recently refurbished acqua park area (Dino Park) at the nearby Paradise Island Hotel only a 3 min walk away.

ENTERTAINMENT

A NEW COMPREHENSIVE AMAZON FIRE STICK TV PACKAGE has recently been installed which offers a vast range of films - over two thousand plus ! , box sets and TV Channels including UK TERRESTIAL CHANNELS BBC and ITV through a 42 INCH SMART T.V.

In addition a wide variety of DVD's and CD'S are provided from our own collection through a separate DVD/CD player this includes a large variety of MUSIC on CD for your enjoyment and allows you to bring and play your OWN MUSIC and DVD'S if preferred.

A large collection of books, jig saws and board/card games which are suitable for both adults and children are also provided.

WHAT IS PROVIDED
The whole villa has FREE infinity WIFI (NEWLY installed) for guest use.

We provide a complimentary STARTER WELCOME PACK which consists of :-
( Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water and orange juice ) this is left for you on arrival.

We also supply BEACH TOWELS free of charge which help to reduce your luggage costs as you do not need to pack these.
All linen and towels are supplied EXCEPT for cot linen.
We provide a COT and HIGH CHAIR free of charge should they be needed.
In addition we provide a SAFE for the safe storage of passports, monies, credit cards etc free of charge.

The villa is serviced/cleaned for your ON THE DAY OF YOUR ARRIVAL - including the pool.
If you are staying for 2 weeks all linen is changed MID TERM along with the pool being cleaned again MID TERM.

A comprehensive CLIENT INFORMATION FOLDER has been produced and is left in the villa for you which explains EVERYTHING about the villa i..e. how to operate all the white goods, T.V. and CD/DVD player, and Wi Fi system etc

This folder also gives extensive information about Playa Blanca and Lanzarote ensuring that you can get the MOST OUT OF YOUR STAY at Villa ALICIA and your visit to LANZAROTE.

A full INFORMATION PACKAGE is sent to you before arrival giving, directions, maps, how to access the keys etc to ensure that your TRAVEL TO and ARRIVAL AT the villa are as STRESS FREE as possible.

The people who support us i.e. our housekeepers and pool cleaner ALL LIVE IN PLAYA BLANCA and are only a telephone call away should you need their help or assistance.

OUR PREFERRED CHANGEOVER DAY IS A SATURDAY particularly over the SUMMER (July/August) and XMAS/NEWYEAR periods due to demand.

IN GENERAL where possible we prefer to rent the villa for COMPLETE WEEKS ONLY (this also applies to extra guests beyond 2 people staying) SATURDAY TO SATURDAY to tie in with our HOUSEKEEPING and POOL CLEANING arrangements along with the RENTAL DEMAND we have.

PLEASE DO NOT USE SUNTAN lotion containing CAROTENE OIL and please do not sit on internal furnishings in SWIMWARE as CAROTENE OIL and CHLORINE from the pool STAIN INTERNAL FURNISHINGS e.g. cushions, and soft furnishings including LEATHER

NOTES TO PRICES LISTED BELOW.

1) Prices are based on 2 PEOPLE SHARING INCLUSIVE OF POOL HEATING.. BEYOND 2 PEOPLE staying there is an ADDITIONAL charge of £105 per person per week or part of a week.
Maximum 4 adults plus baby of cot age.
We make NO CHARGE for a child of cot age (under 2 years) using the travel cot we provide. We also supply a high chair.
We do however ask if you would provide and bring with you your OWN COT LINEN etc.

2) The swimming pool has VERY EFFECTIVE solar heating which is CONSTANT throughout the year.
During early/mid November - end of March every year ELECTRIC heating is NEEDED and INCLUDED IN THE PRICES QUOTED. If you require electric pool heating OUTSIDE of this time (i.e. April to mid November) a charge of £95 per week is made for this service.
The electric pool heat pump is set to achieve 28 degrees centigrade subject to climatic conditions.
From APRIL - to mid NOVEMBER- solar panels situated on the roof keep the pool very COMFORTABLY WARM - No charge is made for solar heating.

3) In relation to PAYMENT details we ask for an INITIAL DEPOSIT of £200 per week (non refundable).
The BALANCE being due for payment 60 days (non refundable) before your ARRIVAL DATE.
Please ENSURE that you have TRAVEL INSURANCE to cover these costs.
It is possible to get travel insurance on the web which covers you for Covid 19 issues.
In addition to the initial deposit and final balance payments a fully REFUNDABLE BOND of £200 is required to cover breakages/damages/excessive cleaning/call outs etc.
We can also accept payment if you prefer in Euros and we can do this at a fixed rate of Euros 1.20 to the £ Sterling

4) We provide a COMPLIMENTARY starter pack which includes a bottle of water, a carton of orange juice, a carton of milk, tea bags and coffee sachets and sugar. We also provide a cot and high chair FREE of charge.
All linen is provided INCLUDING BEACH TOWELS so there is no need to pack these.

5) Linen (sheets and towels) is changed weekly (excluding 10/11 day stays) if you are staying for 10/11 nights an EXTRA SET of towels is left for you at the beginning of your stay.
If you are staying for 2 weeks a COMPLETE MID TERM linen change is included in the package (along with BOTH BATHROOMS being cleaned and moped through) the pool is also CLEANED MID TERM in relation to a 2 week stay. Beds are made up to the number required.

6) We can supply FANS and HEATERS if required depending on the time of year and we charge £14 pw per fan or per heater.

7) Please note that the Villa has a NO SMOKING POLICY, however, there are large external patio/terrace areas available for this purpose.

8) We try to be as OPEN and TRANSPARENT about our pricing policies and the FACILITIES we provide as possible so please do NOT HESITATE TO RAISE ANY QUERIES you may have about these to avoid any confusions or misunderstandings.
