Villa Ventada is a beautiful, comfortable villa which has been furnished to a high standard throughout. The villa is surrounded by a colourful Mediterranean garden, with a mature lemon tree in the front garden. At the rear of the villa there is a private swimming pool (with steps and hand rail). The surrounding terrace is south facing and enjoys the sun most of the day. There are sun loungers, together with a family-sized gas barbecue, and an outside table seating six in the shade, perfect for al fresco dining.
The open-plan living-dining area (with individually controlled air-conditioning) is furnished with comfortable sofas, a dining table with seating for six guests, and a television with access to a range of English-language television programmes and the possibility to connect to your Netflix or Amazon Prime account. We also provide a DVD player. The villa is equipped with Fibre optic broadband.
The kitchen is modern and spacious consisting of an electric hob, microwave, fan oven, dishwasher, kitchen table and chairs, plus a wide range of cookware, cutlery and crockery, kettle and toaster. The utility room (just off from the kitchen) is where the fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are situated.
There is also a downstairs loo.
Upstairs, there are 3 en suite bedrooms consisting of one king-size and two twin-beds. Each bedroom features an ensuite bathroom (one with bath and shower over, two with showers only) and each bedroom has access to the upstairs terraces with views of the marina and the sound beyond. The bedrooms have individually-controlled air-conditioning units, and fitted wardrobes.
All linen is provided, including bath and pool towels. For stays longer than 9 days we are happy to provide a mid-holiday change of linens and an interim clean.
The centre of Addaia is an easy 7 minute stroll away. The village centre has several bars/restaurants which service Spanish, Italian and English food. There is a small supermarket which sells freshly-baked bread and pastries in the mornings, as well as a good selection of fruit, vegetables and other provisions. There is also a newspaper/ gift shop and a boat chandlers selling an extensive range of boating and snorkling/swimming equipment. (Please note that local shops and restaurants generally open from May until October).
The beautiful marina of Addaia is a 5 minute stroll away. Here you will find a bar/restaurant - 'La Cantina' - which offers a relaxing venue for drinks, lunch or an evening meal with picturesque views of the water and the boats and yachts coming and going. During high season you may be able to hire paddle boards and kayaks to explore the local area by sea, and there is a diving school which also operates from Addaia.
A section of Menorca's beautiful network of rural pathways (Camí de Cavalls) begins in the centre of Addaia and provides an opportunity to explore rural Menorca and the beautiful scenery, coastline and countryside around.
To explore this beautiful island a car is essential, although Addaia has 4 restaurants, a supermarket and a gift shop (some closed out of season) within walking distance and therefore provides an ideal location just to relax. Na Macaret, the nearest beach, is only 5 minutes away by car, whilst the larger sandy beach of Arenal (with restaurants and other facilities) is only 10minutes drive away. There is a bus service and taxis are generally available for those not wanting to drive. The villa has off-road parking. Children are welcome - we can provide a high chair and travel cot if needed at no extra cost.
Tourist Eco Tax is included in price.
If your preferred dates are unavailable please still contact me as I can recommend two other different but beautiful villas very close by.
