It has taken me this long to write a review for Las Palmeras as we are still feeling the feel good and calming effects of our stay in this ‘little piece of heaven’… We’ve now been twice in two months, which we’ve never done, and I can honestly say that we’ve never relaxed so quickly and forgotten our home and work problems so fast as when we went to Las Palmeras. I think the main thing, apart from the exquisite location, view and facilities, is the fact that it feels like a home… not another lovely but impersonal holiday destination, but as if you are staying at your best friend’s house, full of thoughtful touches, attention to detail and cosy atmosphere. We will be going again, and joining the league of repeat attenders jostling for place in the villa’s guest book.
We had a wonderful holiday at the Villa. The views of the port and the islands and the sea are marvellous. Even when swimming in the nice big pool, you could watch the port and the sea. The water in the pool is very smooth and doesn't smell of chlorine as it normally does. We really appreciated this. Especially if you are travelling with children, this is great. The kitchen is very well equipped and the big table on the terrace with the big umbrella is the best place for every meal. We also liked the cosy sitting area next to the pool. The bedrooms upstairs are overlooking the harbour as well and they have a balcony, which is really nice. The whole house is tastefully decorated and we immediately felt at home.
“Our family holiday in d’Addaia was perfect in every way. Simone was an amazing host from start to finish, checking in with us at each stage of our journey and helping us get the most out of our stay. The house itself is large, having plenty of space to spread out if desired but also with some great communal spaces. We of course spent most of our time lounging by the fabulous pool and watching life go by in the port. We grilled fresh fish and seafood most evenings, dining outdoors under the stars. Or ventured down to La Catina or up to excellent village restaurants when we didn’t feel like cooking. We hiked the Cami de Cavalls in the mornings, before the heat of the day arrived and ventured further up the coast to explore the numerous beaches. Wouldn’t have changed a thing.”
