This villa worked out perfectly for our large family (there were 19 of us so we rented this villa and the nearby Villa Sama - which worked out great!). The proximity to the beautiful marina of Puerto Calero offered great convenience for nights out - it''s a short 10 minute downhill stroll (with a slightly longer uphill stroll on the way back!). Lots of fantastic, varied restaurants to choose from - all could easily accommodate large groups too. The 2 Irish bars close early (10pm), a couple of bars stay open until midnight/2am. The cliff walk in to Puerto Del Carmen was great for those seeking more strenuous physical activity (1hr in and back) - Easy access to Carmen by land taxi or the more expensive water taxi too. The villa itself is very spacious (if a little tight in the kitchen area during feeding times!). The pool/hot tub got a lot of use during our stay - ocean views and and the wonderful Lanzarote ocean breeze kept it nice and pleasant to sit outside all day. The snooker, fußball and pool tables provided great activities for the many kids/teenagers/adults in our group - the downstairs area where they are located gets very warm though (no air con/airless in this area of the villa). (Note: for any serious snooker players - the room isn''t quite big enough for the table!). The outdoor table tennis table was in higher demand! A lovely villa, with very friendly and attentive hosts facilitated a wonderful, memorable family holiday. We would definitely not hesitate to book a return visit to this beautiful home and the gorgeous enclave of Puerto Calero! Date: 12 August 2023
