Leave ReviewFantastic Villa with amazing views
By Nick on 21-Oct-2025The villa is very spacious and clean with fantastic views of the sea. The pool was great for temperature and size and terrace is a great place to watch the sun come up and the boats come in and out the harbour. It is not overlooked and surrounding area is generally quiet. The walk down to town via the 709 steps that start next to the villa takes about 12 minutes and the beach is sandy and ideal for kids. If you don’t fancy the walk back up taxis are plentiful and is around €7. There is no aircon but every room has a fan and big doors/windows so with the breeze was fine in October. The parking for the villa is tight, along with the exit road, but you can park at the top of the hill which is far easier to get in and out. Communication with Jan (the owner) was first rate and would highly recommend this Villa.

Thank you very much for your review.
A superb place to stay! Would recommend!
By Trisha Richardson on 25-Jul-2025Just home from a fantastic holiday staying at the private Villa Azul, Puerto Rico. The villa was amazing- immaculate, neat, comfortable and peaceful with great views. It was an open plan living area making it feel we are all together, whether cooking, outside or relaxing in the living area, also having large sliding doors which brings the outside in. Bedrooms were spacious again with super views! The addition of a private heated pool made it extra fun - with ample of space for the 10 of us. Great outdoor space for dining and bbqs. Bonus of a local spar and taxi rank opposite for easy access to the shopping centres and steps down straight to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

Thank you Trisha for your lovely review I am so glad you all enjoyed the Villa
Amazing villa with gorgeous views.
By Noreen Kealey on 05-Jul-2025What an amazing stay we had at villa Azul. When we arrived late evening there was milk, water, juice.cereal, bread, butter, tea and coffee etc there for us which meant we didn't have to rush out to get food in for the morning. The villa is immaculate inside and would and fully equipped with every thing you need for a great stay.Four of the bedrooms in the main house look onto the stunning heated pool. There is a small single bedroom behind the kitchen with its own shower room and this is were the washing machine is.There is a toilet off the main entrance door and you step down into a gorgeous sitting room with reclining leather sofas. There is a large smart tv so you can use your own netflix, disney account. There is also a great selection of dvds. The three bedroom apartment is down a set of steps beside the pool.It is also comes with a fully equipped kitchen sitting room/dining room and inside/outside dining area that has stunning views looking onto puerto rico bay.All towels are supplied but bring your own for around the pool.As you come out of the kitchen there is an amazing terrace with tables and chairs that could seat 16 comfortably and a large parasol for shade. The views fromhere are nothing short of spectacular looking down to puerto rico bay and beyond.I would highly recommend bringing binoculars with you to enjoy them even more. The terrace and pool around has a gorgeous steel and glass surround so you still can see the views wile sitting or in the pool. The pool are is down 5 steps and has a lovely bar area and toilet shower room and a place to store your inflatables for the pool. The pool has lovely rounded wide steps into it which is great for non swimmers to sit at and just dable their feet.It is also heated a great bonus and is lovely warm in the evening time.Anybody that know Puerto Rico knows it is hilly and there are lots of steps so the villa is not really suited for people with mobility needs as there are lots of steps inside and out.The steps never put us off as there is a great taxi rank across the road from the villa and it only cost €5 to go to most places in and around Puerto Rico.Beside the villa is the newly refurbished Servatur Hotel with an added bonus of an everything you need including off licence Spar. There is also a cash machine at it and the hotel has a coffee and ice cream shop which is open to the public too.Jan was a pleasure to work with and emails correspondence was great. We had a mid holiday clean and the cleaners did a first class job. There is really one negative I have and that is I wish there was aircon even if it was just in the bedrooms as when we were there we had a heatwave and it was 30degress at night, although there was fans in all the rooms they just didn't cut it on the really warm nights. This was our second time staying here and will definitely be booking again in the future.

A great place to stay
By Jackie on 22-Jun-2025This villa was in a fantastic spot. Great views of the beach and marina. Lots of space for all 16 of us. Everything was catered for. Rooms were spacious. We all loved the pool. Although home from home you definitely felt like you were in luxury. Loved it.

Beautiful villa, stunning views
By Maxine Penney on 15-Mar-2025Amazing villa, perfect location for views and a shop 1 minute walk away. Great hosts who left us welcome goodies which was such a lovely touch. Pool was warm in March, great terrace in the sun from 8am. Great kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms with comfy beds. Recommend a trip to Mogán, 15 mins in a taxi. Also liked Arguineguín and Amadores beach. All short reasonable taxi rides away. We took taxis everywhere as we had small children with us. The steps down weren’t an option. Also we preferred the food/restaurant options in the above places. We ate one evening in the hotel next door. They have all inclusive buffet for €24pp including drinks, young kids are free. Definitely recommend that too. I’d recommend this villa to anyone. Also big thank you to Jan for being so communicative throughout.

Feb Family Holiday for 7
By David on 13-Feb-2025My family and I stayed at the villa for February half term school holidays. We found the villa to be as advertised; spacious, well equipped and very clean and tidy. The south facing terrace has amazing views of the bay below and was bathed in sunshine from sunrise until early evening; allowing for warm and sunny outdoor breakfasts and plenty of time in the well heated pool, even though it was still very early in the season. The villa is very private, yet is well located for access to all of the shops and restaurants in Puerto Rico. As it is well away from the main coast road and motorway, the villa is incredibly peaceful and quiet (especially at night). To get down into the main resort on foot there are several hundred steps to descend; but the steps are properly paved, well used (so presumably relatively safe), well lit and have a handrail all of the way down and so are perfectly manageable for someone of average fitness. One of our party has mobility issues so wasn't able to manage them, but taxis were readily available from just outside the villa for around €5 down to the sea front and so it didn't cause us any issues. The neighbouring hotel has a Spar supermarket, excellent ice cream parlour and coffee shop, so the journey down into the main resort wasn't necessary every day. A car isn't essential, but I would recommend it for those with mobility issues and/or those likely to want to make multiple trips down to the seafront area per day. I would suggest hiring a small a car though, as the private road to exit the villa is very narrow. Communication with the host was excellent. We have stayed in many holiday rentals in various forms around the world - This villa was right up there with the very best of those in terms of overall comfort, enjoyment and value for money.
