Villa Antonio is a traditional six bedroom, three bathroom Menorcan villa, it is situated on a quiet road located in the popular resort of Punta Prima on the South East of the Island, characterised by its white sandy beach with clear turquoise water. It enjoys a quiet location ideal for the holidaymaker wanting a villa in a quieter area and yet it is walking distance from the family friendly beach along with the bars, restaurants and shops in the area. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning and the villa has its own private pool, BBQ area, and WIFI.

The main door leads into a large open plan living room/dining room. There is a fire which is ideal for earlier and later in the season when the evenings can be cool. In the living area is a large curved leather sofa, DVD player, flat-screen TV which has satellite English Freeview channels. The dining table comfortably seats 6 people.

From the dining area is the kitchen with fitted units and marble-topped work surfaces. It has a gas hob and integrated oven, large fridge-freezer, drinks fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven and all the crockery, cutlery and utensils necessary for a self-catering holiday.

On this floor you will find three of the bedrooms and all the bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, integrated wardrobes and a spacious en-suite bathroom with bath (with a shower over), two wash-basins and wc.

The second bedroom is a large twin bedroom (which can be prepared as a double), again with integrated wardrobes, and the third bedroom (on this floor) has a single bed (with room for a z-bed or cot depending on your needs) and free-standing wardrobe.

These two bedrooms share a bathroom with walk-in shower, vanity basin and wc.

There is also a useful utility room on this floor, with a washing machine and sink. From the utility room you will find a small shower room with sink and WC. This shower room can also be accessed from outside so that guests do not have to trail water through the house.

Upstairs you will find three further bedrooms, each is a twin bedroom – one of which can be presented as a double if you prefer. You can also access a small roof terrace from here with stunning sea views and a perfect view of the Isla Del Rey.

Outside the property is a large covered terrace area which you access from the lounge area through patio doors, thus providing shade all day. There is a dining table and chairs under the terrace, which seats 12, to be able to enjoy al-fresco dining.

Down steps from the terrace is the swimming pool (10m x 4m) with Roman steps access. There is plenty of space around the pool for sunbathing. There is also a brick built barbecue under another covered terrace as well as a further dining table and seating area.

Pool towels as well as hairdryers are included in the price.

The property has two z-beds, two travel cots and two high chairs which are available free of charge to guests.

The Area:
Punta Prima is in the south east corner of Menorca. Mahon, the island’s capital is 10km away so a journey from the airport is approximately 25 minutes. Nearby resorts include Binibeca and S’Algar.

The centre of Punta Prima, adjacent to the beach is where you’ll find a good selection of restaurants offering a range of international cuisine and Mediterranean dishes, as well as several bars.

There is a street market twice a week where you can buy locally made items. There is a chemist open 7 days a week and 24 hour doctors surgery. The resort also has an ATM machine.

There are several shops near to the beach that offer a collection of accessories for the beach as well as numerous souvenirs from Menorca. There is also a car hire service located in the resort.

The beach at Punta Prima is perfect for families with shallow waters and crystal clear turquoise water. The resort and beach overlooks the famous “Isla Del Aire” a small island with a lighthouse and home to the famous black lizard.

The resort has a fun, land train service that travels the coast from Punta Prima to Binibeca. There are also very good bus services to and from Mahon via Sant Lluis.
