So we were understandably dubious about booking as I’d never heard of Simply Owners, but we absolutely needn’t have been. The cottage is well out of the way, so if you’re after a ‘get away from everything and everyone’ kind of holiday then this place is for you. The owner is very nice, the property is lovely, and the location is so quiet. The accommodation is very well equipped and is a nice size for a family of four. The pool is a short walk away - it’s quite small but was perfectly adequate for our two children (11 and 13) to play around in, and for us to cool off in. There was a fruit and veg garden, where we could help ourselves to anything - tomatoes, peppers, chillis, aubergines, watermelons, figs, and lots more. And you’re free to wander around the entire farm, which offers some pretty good views over the land out to the sea. The owner, Ron, who lives in the farmhouse just behind the cottage, is really nice. We didn’t see much of him, but he was always there at the end of an email or WhatsApp with a speedy response if we needed to ask anything.
We had a fabulous stay at Ron's casita. The views are tremendous and the coast totally accessible. Ron is an excellent host and his vegetable patch a pure joy! The pool is entirely private and surrounded by hill slopes and great views. A really lovely experience...
Following a week staying in a boutique hotel on the coast we hired a car drove inland and stayed in this cosy and well appointed holiday villa that provides brilliant views of the Tarragona coast line. Positioned in the center of a working almond farm we were met by Ron, who's a fantastic host, and shown around the villa and the route through the almond trees to the private pool. We were lucky as on returning to the villa Ron helped us stock up with vegetables from the fantastic organic garden. Every night was a BBQ night- no need to go elsewhere. The only downside was that we hadn't booked a longer stay
