The house is at the end of a 'White Road', so very private.
Stunning views of the valley and local hill top village. And the charming sound of the church bells ring through the valley.
About ...
About 500m above sea level, views of our charming old village, Sant’Angelo in Pontano, which is only a 7 minute drive and offers all the amenities, shops, bars, restaurants, a beautifully restored theatre, an old church, plenty of atmosphere and amazingly welcoming and friendly locals.
There is also a butchers, Post Office, Chemist, Tobacconist, ATM machines, 2 Bars, and excellent restaurants.
There is a small market on the last Sunday of each month

Travel ...
Ancona is the local airport from Stansted (RyanAir). Car hire is available.
Only 1 -1.10mins drive to the airport.
Other airports are Pescara, Purgia, Rimini.
Rome & Bologna airports are approx. 4 and 3.30hrs drive respectively.
Coast and Beach ...
The property is located approximately 50 mins from the closest beach at Civitanova. Other beaches such as, Porto San Georgioand Conero are approximately 60 to 70 mins away.
Le Marche is blessed with the wonderful Adriatic coast line, the beaches are clean (blue flag) and child friendly.
You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas for the day, for approx. 8 euros per person.
A fish lunch is a must overlooking the sea while sampling some chilled Verdicchio wine.

Macerata, the regional capital, with a fabulous open air opera house in July and August. Market day Wednesday. 30 mins drive.
Assisi worth a visit only 90 minutes away.
Ascoli Piceno with its amazing piazza is a lovely drive through the mountains. 1 hour drive.
Housekeeping …
All towels and bed linen included, (including pool/beach towels). Weekly cleaning is available in middle of a two or more week stay BUT at an extra cost.
