Description

Casa de la Roca is a beautiful 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Moorish styled villa that benefits from breath taking views of beautiful mountains and picturesque valleys, and enjoys maximum all year-round sunshine, with a total of three separate patio terrace areas and a sunny westerly aspect that is almost unrivalled throughout the local area.

The property benefits from a totally private secluded walled Andalusian style courtyard complete with a solar heated outside shower, shaded pergola and lovely lemon tree! This area is well equipped with ample outside seating and sunbeds, and is ideal for alfresco dining or soaking up the all-day sunshine, as are the other terraces, one ideally equipped for breakfast and the other for relaxing in the comfortable outside furniture whilst enjoying a sundowner and watching the most amazing sunsets.
The villa also has use of a large communal swimming pool and is conveniently positioned literally just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the village, where guests can enjoy the facilities that include a fabulous Moroccan styled restaurant, local bar, tennis (small fee) and petanque courts. There are also many great walks around the beautiful mountains and other facilities nearby include more restaurants in Cortijo Grande valley below and in Turre (10 mins drive) where there are local shops, supermarkets, banks & cafes, etc, as well as a popular weekly local market. Mojacar is about 20 mins drive away, with its stunning beaches, water sports, shops and an array of restaurants & bars which is well worth a visit.

This charming villa is perfect for 2 couples sharing or a family of 4, as it has 2 separate double bedrooms both with their own private en-suite bathroom. However it is worth noting that it may not be suitable for families with very young children, as the second bedroom & bathroom are located across the private internal courtyard and therefore separate from the main house.

Casa de la Roca is beautifully presented & well equipped, for all your holiday needs with a bright & airy open plan lounge/dining room with traditional domed ceiling and a fully fitted kitchen with granite worksurfaces, large fridge/freezer, electric oven/gas hob and a dishwasher, etc. There is also a gas hotplate/BBQ in the internal patio, as well as a solar shower, and outside dining table ideal for alfresco dining . A further outside useful utility room housing a washing machine and clothes line. The property also benefits from air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, reclining sofas and wall mounted TV.

The Accommodation was delightful. Tastefully decorated. Very relaxing, with lovely views, home from home. The whole area was friendly and made us feel very welcome.......we did not want to leave. One small criticism, the kitchen got extremelly hot, but this is in July. Luckily we could cook outside.

The house is wonderful, the location between the mountains is idyllic, the drawback is the road up to the top but they compensate for the views and the tranquility.
