Leave ReviewLovely, traditional Mallorcan house in a beautiful location
By JAMES LYONS on 26-Aug-2025Our family enjoyed a very relaxing and tranquil three weeks at Can Pau, a charming and typically Mallorcan house in the pretty village of Biniraix; we hope to return! We found the house very charming and it afforded a spacious feel with plenty of room inside with sitting and dining rooms and good-sized bedrooms, equipped with ensuite bathrooms and air-conditoning; all very clean, too. Outside lay various patio spaces at different levels, just outside the well-equipped kitchen and further down, surrounded by bougainvillea and trees, by the very clean swimming pool which looked out towards the olive groves of the mountains climbing up on the far side of the torrente at the bottom the valley; again well-maintained. To the west lay expansive views towards Soller; a spectacular sight first thing and also as the sun set. Biniraix, a pretty and tranquil village, has various different walking routes up into the mountains by cobbled track and road from which one could overlook the Soller valley surrounded by the olive groves. It also has two excellent little restaurants, both serving very well cooked and elegantly presented dishes. A 15 minute walk takes you to a very useful cooperative food shop selling all of the basics, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables and local produce, from olives to wine. A 25 minute walk takes you to the centre of Soller with everything that you could need as well as tram and train to the puerto and to Palma. The owners were very responsive and helpful with their communication and instructions and keen to make sure that all was well for our stay for which we were very grateful.
Charming holiday home in quiet village just outside Soller with a great pool and spectacular mountain views.
By Kim Langer on 27-Jul-2025We visited Can Pau for the first time but hopefully not for the last. Ample space for a family of six and so full of charm. So many great places to sit outside with lots of welcome shade.
Perfect stay in beautiful villa with stunning views
By Bradleys on 28-Jun-2025We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in C'an Pau situated in the beautiful village of Biniaraix. The villa is a pleasant walk away from Soller with its wonderful square and lovely local cafes and boutique shops. Surrounded by mountains and enjoying breath taking views from the terrace, from beside the pool or simply when the bedroom shutters were thrown open in the morning the villa provided the perfect place to relax but enjoy family time. C'an Pau is traditionally Mallorquin and extremely charming. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped, it provided for a perfect stay where meals were enjoyed in the shaded outdoor dining area, surrounded by beautiful flowers (when we decided not to dine in one of the many excellent local restaurants). We are a family of seven and everyone was in their element, enjoying wandering into town for a coffee in the morning, relaxing by or having fun in the pool, having easy access to both the Port de Soller, Soller Placa and La Luna with its many wonderful cafes and shops as well as the numerous coves on the western coast of Mallorca. Thank you to our wonderful hosts who were warm, accommodating and helpful throughout. C'an Pau is a magical place and memories of our time there will be treasured.
Beuatiful house and area
By Craig Matthews on 17-Jul-2025We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful villa. The views are breathtaking and the size of the house was more than big enough for myself, my wife and our five children. We ate out most evenings and the local restaurants were great! A great holiday. Thank you!
A very special place
By Simon on 07-Jul-2025Our 4th stay at Can Pau didn't disappoint. The setting is simply stunning. Mesmerising views across the valley to the Tramuntana mountains glowing peach in the sunset or down to Soller across the lemon and orange groves. The house is perfect for our needs, it's three terraces providing space for all occasions.
Stunning environment in the beautiful Biniaraix valley
By Helen on 18-May-2025Our second visit to this villa which is perfect for 2 families or a group of friends. Comfortable and quirky inside, the true highlight is the fabulous terrace, gorgeous green garden and pool, with the most stunning view, as this villa is in the stunning Biniaraix valley, a lemon and orange tree filled oasis just a half hour joyful walk from the centre of Soller. If you don't mind a stroll along the beautiful valley from Soller you won't need a car ( even though there is a garage it's a tight squeeze getting the car in from the narrow medieval village street). We manage perfectly on foot, bike and using the wonderful public buses, train and tram from Soller. Nearby you have all you need for a lovely relaxing and interesting holiday: walks straight from the door, a cafe and restaurant in the village and a farmers co-op for all you need to self cater just 10-15 minutes walk away. What a great find!
