Excellent holiday home - totally recommend. Positives: - the most stocked house we’ve ever stayed in! - Great owner and local agent who help make everything go smoothly. - Views are spectacular - best sunset view you’ll find anywhere and the top floor balcony makes for good star gazing. - Less than 10 minute walk to the beach. We had a 6 and 8 year old and they managed the steps fine. - the beach is really fantastic. Soft white sand, warm water, just the right combination of waves and calmness. - Zahara, the town, is so special and to a non-Spanish person, feels completely authentic (note - not a lot of English spoken but never caused that much of an issue if you make a bit of an effort). Great little bars and restaurants and less than 10 minute drive (or 1.5 hr walk along the beach). - Pool and hot tub are great - games room to keep kids and adults alike entertained. - easy to use and well stocked kitchen - We’ve done August trips elsewhere in Europe and it’s usually almost unbearably hot but the weather here was perfect. Highs of 29/30 and lows around 23 for almost the entire 2 weeks. We did a day trip to Seville and Jerez and they were pushing 40, which was a bit brutal. No real negatives. A few tips: - House has everything so no need to bring much of anything. This includes pool toys, beach stuff (umbrellas, chairs, activities, towels). - there is a washing machine with detergent there so nice to be able to wash - We had ‘the wind’ the first few days but honestly, the house is mostly protected so other than a bit more debris in the pool, no issues at all and don’t let it keep you away. Hope that’s helpful. Enjoy the trip if you are lucky enough to stay here!
We feel in love with everything about the house and location had to offer. We tried to extend our stay 7 day. Sad we couldn’t:(
