This beautiful villa nestles at the foot of the Mijas Hills, overlooking the 2nd tee of Mijas Golf. Delightfully appointed, the villa has a pretty garden, its own swimming pool, a built in barbecue and roof patio above garage. The property is fitted out in keeping with a traditional villa.Accommodation: 1 twin room, 2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms 1 with Bath, modern kitchen, spacious sitting room and dining area with wood burning stove, opening onto covered patio and terrace. The villa has central heating, air conditioning, private outdoor pool, English TV and fibre optic Internet.
The villa is situated fifteen miles from Malaga airport, two miles from the Mediterranean Sea and the popular resort of Fuengirola between Malaga and Marbella. This fashionable part of Spain boasts many good restaurants, excellent golf courses, tennis and horse riding, yet offers the delights of interesting harbours, with parts of old Spain just a short drive away. The La Zambra Luxury 5 star Hotel and resort with Spa is situated on the Golf complex and within walking distance of the villa.
Property rental prices per week as at 26 July 2025. Check In and Check out is on Saturdays. The property may only be taken weekly in peak season. Out of season special arrangements can be made with the owner. Please contact the owner to confirm your preferred dates as the online booking system occasionally automatically restricts requests.

By Russell on 09-Aug-2025what a fantastic stay my family and I had at this lovely Villa, with beautiful gardens and views over the Mijas golf course, watching the golfers play their game through the binoculars found inside the Villa. Mary (the owner ) was very helpful and always available by phone or email to answer any of our questions, once the balance had been paid she sent out an information sheet with contact numbers & email of the maintenance team ( Javier) that look after the Villa. As our flight was landing in Malaga at 11;30am we requested if we could enter the Villa early as we had 2 grandchildren one of which is on the autistic spectrum and all he wants to do is to get in the pool 🏊♂️ even if it meant sitting around the pool waiting for the maintenance team to prep the Villa. on our arrival at 13:30 the team had finished and had gone. The Villa was very clean and cool as the curtains had been closed to keep the heat out and on opening them revealed the inviting pool outside. The drive way down from road is steep but just take it slow and steady, you can turn round at the bottom, we had quite a big car and was able to do this The Villa is centrally located with plenty of supermarkets for food shopping also Fuengirola, La cala and Mijas pueblo close to hand with its Bars and restaurants. Only minus is the bathroom needs updating, needs new toilet seat in the mean time. The Villa has lots of character. And we really did enjoyed our stay and will be back agin soon. Thank you Mary.
Tropical Haven
By Bindy on 14-May-2025Communication with the owner was excellent. She provided all the necessary information including a contact detail for the property manager in Mijas. From the minute we opened the patio doors we felt right at home. The pool was inviting and the gardens spacious. Plenty of seating areas and very comfortable sunbeds (although only 4 if you are a party of 6)! There isn’t a parasol but there is plenty of shade on the verandah. The drive is steep but enough room to turn around at the bottom if you have a smallish car. Very peaceful surrounding. The interior is rather dated and a little too much furniture and fittings; however we never sat inside so it didn’t bother us at all. The kitchen is a bit tired but had everything we needed to cook, including an excellent fridge/freezer. The shower room is very modern with a large and pretty powerful shower. The main bathroom is however very tired and could do with updating. If you’re wanting a villa with fab outside space and aren’t bothered about an ultra modern interior, then like us you might be totally satisfied. We’d be more than happy to return as we enjoyed the relaxing environment. We aren’t golfers but loved the setting. Big thanks to Mary 👍
Misleading advert resulted in a disappointing stay
By Garry Smith on 03-Aug-2024Our family spent two weeks in this villa August 2024, on arrival at the villa it is in a lovely area next to the gold course, gardens very pretty and the pool very inviting. When we entered into the villa we found it to be very dark and dated, the lounge furniture was not at all comfortable and the cushions, seating badly needs replacing as the under seating was on the brink of collapse. The cooker/oven in the kitchen was disgusting and covered in grease and clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time, pots and pans were all grubby and had to rewash these or ideally be replaced as they were beyond use. The kitchen itself was not equipped in fairness as we had to buy oven trays ourselves as these were missing as well as cereal bowls and other items. In all the bedrooms, the pillows were very stained and really unhygienic and again need replacing along with bedding. In the main bathroom the toilet seat was extremely old and worn and had been repaired over time to a poor standard and still had cracks in it which again was unhygienic. All the bath towels that were provided again need replacing as these we stained and again just old. The pictures in the main advert show parasols in the gardens but these again were missing leading to limited shade in the searing heat. The villa also advertises a double garage but this was locked and a long bar across rendering it useless . All together the villa could be cleaner.
A little bit of heaven
By Lorraine & Peter on 22-Sep-2024Why have I never left a review after coming to this fantastic villa for the past 20 years. Just didn’t think about it and that’s not good. You may wonder why we have been coming for so long with various children and grandchildren well that’s easy to answer. It’s a little peace of heaven overlooking the amazing golf course. We love the privacy and comfort and that’s what you would get if you came here. We always stay for 3 weeks and next year we intend to come twice. It’s easy to get to and near some of the most amazing places visit i.e. Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona and just a 5 min drive to Fuengerola and beach. You will not be disappointed.
