A stylish two-bedroom villa with private poolIdeally located, El Descanso has proved to be a popular choice – perfect for couples or small families who want the luxury of their own private pool. AC in the 2 bedrooms only.
Chani and Antonio have lovingly built this charming single-storey casita just a few minutes stroll from the jaw dropping beach of El Palmar. The private pool terrace provides the perfect spot for relaxing with a glass of Fino and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, or contemplating where to dine out that evening. ‘Foodies’ should try the Michelin-rated Casa Francisco restaurant in El Palmar, the place to eat the 'Catch of the Day' or any of the numerous bars and restaurants along the beach road - many vith oceans views and memorable sunsets.
For a rewarding day out, take a trip through the nearby villages of Vejer de la Frontera and Zahara de los Atunes – you won’t be disappointed.
Please note, there is a sofabed in the salon - which sleep up to 2 extra guests. The supplement for extra guests is 10€ PPPN, minimum 2 nights.

El Palmar beach was very busy during our stay (2nd week of July) but the house is a short distance back from the beach so very peaceful. Gary's instructions for finding the place were really clear. We enjoyed our time at El Descanso.

By Carolin on 31-May-2024For us as a family of 4 with small and school children it was perfect - private pool, indoor and outdoor dining area, 2 bathrooms (one with pass-through to master bedroom) and even an extra toilet in the pool house, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, flexible arrival with key box, parking directly in the private courtyard, quick responses from Gary for questions, short walk to the beach and restaurants and shops. El Palmar is always beautiful and we can definitely recommend this place!

By Ana on 01-Jun-2018Nos alojamos a principio de junio y aunque no hizo todo lo bueno que nos hubiese gustado, disfrutamos bastante de la casa, del jardin, tomando el sol y disfrutando de la piscina( los que se atrevieron a bañarse), haciendo barbacoas, la estancia fue genial, totalmente recomendable, la casa está muy bien acondicionada con todo nuevo. Use encuentra muy cerca de la playa, se puede ir andando perfectamente. We stayed at the beginning of June and although the weather temperature it did not do everything good that we would have liked, we enjoyed the house, the garden, sunbathing and enjoying the pool (those who dared to bathe), doing barbecues, the stay was great, totally recommended, the house is very well equipped with everything new. Use located very close to the beach, you can walk perfectly.
