Description
Beautifully restored old farmhouse with 10m x 5m swimming pool, large garden, bar/bbq areas and spectacular mountain views - idyllic, peaceful location yet very centrally located. Tourist Registration No: VTAR/MA/01443The property has a master suite comprising large bedroom, dressing area, private bathroom and private roof terrace, there are two further bedrooms which have air conditioning and a further bathroom and downstairs cloakroom, fully fitted well-equipped kitchen, spacious, bright lounge with character wood burning stove, large sun terrace and another roof terrace. Beamed ceilings throughout and full central heating for cosy winter lettings. . We are also now connected to the internet so there is free WiFi in all areas. Outside there is a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool, a lovely garden with olive, orange and lemon trees, outside lighting and a beautiful covered leisure area comprising games area, shower room, kitchen, barbeque and bar. So you can have barbeques in winter, as well as summer, whatever the weather. There is also a further outdoor BBQ area with plenty of places to sit, eat and relax. N.B. We recently bought a large plot of land adjoining the property so there is now plenty of extra space for playing games, football, cricket, etc. ideal for all the family!
It is within walking distance of 2 restaurants and only 5 minutes drive from Trabuco a typical Spanish "white-washed" village with a good selection of shops, supermarkets, cafe/bars, restaurants, banks and a beautiful plaza. It is very centrally located being just 40 minutes from Malaga and Granada Airports, 45 minutes from the beaches of the Costas del Sol and Tropical and 50 minutes from Granada, with its magical Alhambra Palace, and skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Nearest golf course is in beautiful Antequera only 25 minutes away. Further afield the property is within easy driving distance of some of the greatest cities of Spain, Malaga, Cordoba, Seville, Jerez, Jaen, Cadiz and Gibraltar, perfect for a cultural tour. Also a perfect location for bird watchers, walkers, bikers and nature lovers or for those less active just relaxing with a glass of rioja round the pool!!
Children are most welcome, and we can provide a travel cot and highchair for infants. There is horse riding 5 minutes away where they cater for riders of all abilities and run special courses for children.
We ourselves live in the UK but we have a super couple who look after the property for us. They are called Jackie and Hesus. Hesus is Spanish and Jackie has lived in Spain for many years so they are very knowledgeable. They will be only too pleased to help you in any way possible and provide you with any information you may require during your stay. You will find their telephone number inside the property on your arrival. Also should you not wish to eat out any night we can arrange for Hesus's mother to cook you an authentic Paella that will he delivered to your door!!, Details can be found in the villa.

Beautiful villa with stunning views!
By Tracey Mahony on 26-Jul-2025What an amazing experience, from beginning to end. 🌞🏊♀️🏞🥂🌅 🥘🫒 We absolutely loved everything about our stay here. What a wonderful place, with plenty of space for the 6 of us. Communication was excellent throughout and our stay was blissful! We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack of wine, bread, jam, butter, biscuits etc.....So welcoming on arrival. The villa is spacious, clean and very comfortable. We loved the proper lounge, for chilling with a film, on the occassional siesta. It has terraces with views stretching for miles... amazing mountain scenery and breathtaking starry skies, by night. The swimming pool is the icing on the cake... Just beautiful and huge... We swam lengths, played volleyball and generally loved every minute of our chilled pool time. We loved the Games/bar room and had Darts matches in the evening.... Such fun. The village of Villaneuva de Trabuco is really handy for local shops, great places to eat and a lovely plaza to enjoy a tinto, or two. We visited The Alhambra, El Torcal, Nerja, El Chorro, and Granada, durring our stay , as it is close to so many great places..... Lovely to return home to a dip in the pool , after a busy day. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful villa... We had the perfect stay. 🧡 We can't Thank you enough.
A relaxing place to stay
By Darren on 14-Jun-2025A lovely villa situated on a quiet road not far from Villanueva del Trabuco. There were stunning views of the mountains and miles of olive trees. The pool sits in the sun all day and was great to chill out in. The communication with Linda was prompt and faultless, with great directions to the villa from Malaga airport. We all had a fantastic time and would not hesitate in recommending a visit.
Summer holiday
By Martins on 17-Jul-2024The Villa is a well restored traditional Spanish farm house. The facilities are basic but clean and the massive pool is absolutely fantastic. The Villa has plenty of space inside but the outside makes it very special. The garden is beautiful with lots of spaces to get the sun through the day or sit in the shade as needed! There are lots of comfy sun loungers and the bbq was great. The area is beautiful and very rural, the view from the terrace of the clear night sky is awesome! The Villa is in rural Spain and the town is very traditional but with a lovely plaza for meals out. It was excellent value for money. We had a lovely family holiday and will be going back next year.
We stayed here 15 days was absolutely srunning
By Allan murray on 01-Jul-2024We have just spent 15 days here at this absolutely beautiful country house owner was amazing very very helpful and so nice to us and helped us alot throughout our stay and Linda's staff jesus was an absolute gentleman house was amazing gardens and pool wer was just beautiful but the 1 thing was the views my family have done villa holidays but never have I seen views. Like this from top terrace overlooks and All that's in our was is sights that are best I have ever seen we have already bookedd bk up for 10 days to go back this November and our kids grand kids hade time if there life's thank you Linda and jesus you made our holiday and memories thats gony live with us forever thank you Allan Sarah 💚💚💚
An absolute gem

The villa was clean and well equipped and we spent the week enjoying the weather, the stunning views and playing in the large pool. Highly recommend this villa and we will be back.
