Description
Casa Zahora consists of a main house with capacity for 8 and an annex for 4. In high/mid seasons we offer rental including the annex only. For the rest of the year the annex is either rented with the house or closed. The prices displayed November - March (excluding Christmas/NewYears) are hence with the annex closed off, ask for price with the annex included. With it's composition and capacity, Casa Zahora is ideal for extended families or groups of friends. Casa Zahora is ideally situated for exploring the best of Andalusia. We're a stone's throw from the iconic Trafalgar Lighthouse, with its breathtaking views, and a short drive from the historic hilltop town of Vejer de la Frontera, famous for its whitewashed streets and vibrant culture. Whether you want to explore the lively market in Barbate or try your hand at kite-surfing in Tarifa, everything is within easy reach.
From the moment you arrive, you will feel a sense of peace and privacy. The villa is set within its own lush, green grounds, with a magnificent private pool as the centrepiece. We've poured our hearts into creating a space where you can unwind, whether that's with a glass of local wine on the terrace, a dip in the sun-drenched pool, or a siesta in the quiet, cool interiors.
The main house
Divided between 1 double and 1 twin bedroom on the ground floor and an attic with 1 doublebed and 2 single beds, the main house has capacity for 8 people. The living room has an open plan and the kitchen is fully equipped amongst other with a dishwasher. In the backyard, close to the kitchen entrance, there is a gas grill (post-Tour) when the weather or the time make it less interesting to use the garden kitchen or the charcoal grill on the sundeck.
The annex
There is further an annex with separate bathroom accommodating 4 by means of a double bed and a bunk bed. Here you will also find a "kitchenette" for cold and hot drinks. The annex is also as the main house airconditioned during summer and has central heating for added comfort during the colder months.
Garden & Outdoor facilities:
The porch is fitted with a concrete dining table ideal for breakfast/lunch. From there you overview the large garden which is sheltered by mature olive trees (post-Tour) and the sparkling salt water pool with its large pool deck with sun lounges, a small concrete dining group and cold water shower.
The sun deck (partly covered) above the annex is equipped with garden furniture, built-in barbecue, fireplace and has magnificent views of the Breña Natural Park and the sea. It is accessed by an outside staircase which guests are welcome to use whether the annex is rented or not.
The pergola offers daytime shade and a warm place at night and shelters a Garden Kitchen, a Relax Bench as well as ample Dining Space. The Garden Kitchen is equipped with a wood fired pizza oven, a kamado grill, gas hub, sink and fridge.
The Spa area includes Sauna and Hot/Cold Tub as well as a secluded garden shower with hot & cold water with adjoining bathroom facilities. Together with the pool these facilities guarantee good times and recreation outdoors whatever the weather.

Fantastic house

The owner has always been attentive and sends a lot of information both for the activities that can be done in the surroundings and for the use of the house. We'll be back next year. 100% recommended.

Refuge near the ocean
By Laura on 15-Apr-2025Casa Zahora was a beautiful refuge near the ocean. We had ten people and had plenty of space. The outdoor area was perfect. We made a lot of use of the pool, sauna, hot tub and garden kitchen.
