LA FERMETTE & CHALET ANN

These two characterful 5-bedroom chalets are both situated in Le Châtelard, a peaceful traditional hamlet just outside Saint Martin de Belleville.

They are particularly well suited to families and groups who prefer more space, mountain views and a quieter setting than the centre of the ski village.

La Fermette offers considerably more space, five en-suite bedrooms and a beautifully renovated farmhouse interior with a large terrace.

Chalet Ann has wonderful 19th-century character, sleeps up to 11 guests and combines traditional Alpine features with comfortable modern accommodation.

Both chalets are approximately a five-minute drive from the skiing in Saint Martin de Belleville.

A beautifully renovated traditional farmhouse, La Fermette is an excellent choice for families or groups looking for plenty of space and a peaceful Alpine setting.

There are five spacious bedrooms.

Three bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms, while the two bedrooms on the top floor share a generous family bathroom with both a freestanding bath and separate shower.

Chalet Ann sleeps up to 11 guests, making it particularly useful for a slightly larger family or group than La Fermette.

The chalet is also dog friendly, making it a good option for guests who would like to bring their four-legged family member on holiday.

WHICH CHALET SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Choose La Fermette if you value space and bedroom parity. At approximately 220m², it is considerably larger and all five bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. The large open-plan living floor, sun terrace and dual-aspect fireplace make it particularly good for groups who enjoy spending evenings together.

Choose Chalet Ann if you prefer traditional Alpine character or need accommodation for up to 11 guests. Its 19th-century features, real log fire, balcony views and cosy atmosphere give it a particularly charming chalet feel.

Ann is also the natural choice if you would like to bring a dog.

The different Saturday and Sunday changeover days can also be useful when arranging flights or travel.

LOCATION & SKI ACCESS

Both La Fermette and Chalet Ann are situated in Le Châtelard, a quiet traditional hamlet close to Saint Martin de Belleville.

The setting is ideal for guests who prefer to stay away from the busier centre of the ski village while remaining within easy reach of the slopes.

The Saint Martin 1 gondola, village drag lift and main ski area can be reached in approximately five minutes by car.

Free parking is available close to the lifts, making the journey to and from the skiing straightforward.

Saint Martin de Belleville itself has a good choice of restaurants, bars, shops, bakery, ski hire and other resort facilities.

Chalet Ann is less than 1km from Saint Martin and the village can also be reached on foot in around 20 minutes.

For skiing and day-to-day convenience, we recommend having a car or arranging transport when staying in Le Châtelard.

The quieter position has another advantage for guests who enjoy walking, snowshoeing, ski touring or cross-country skiing, with mountain tracks accessible directly from the hamlet.
