A wonderful place to stay
By S & E H-M on 22-Aug-2026We had a lovely 10 days staying in The Farmhouse. The gite was perfect - very comfortable, spotless and with plenty of room for our family of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children aged 6 and 9). We really appreciated the comfortable beds; the digital TV for the occasional bit of downtime; and the lovely patio area outside where we could sit in the sun. The cottages are situated in a beautiful location with farmland, woods and the river edging the site. We enjoyed walking and wildlife-spotting - between us (and without trying too hard) we saw buzzards, a kingfisher, a heron and deer. Our children also loved feeding the chickens on the farm every day, as well as all of the toys and games in the play barn which was helpful as we did have a few rainy / cloudy days. Erika and Rob were excellent hosts: always available but never imposing, and happy to provide advice and suggestions for things to do. The pool was great and we appreciated the heating for the cooler days, although the temperature didn't drop much below 21 degrees on our stay in late August. We enjoyed exploring Finistere which was a part of Brittany we hadn't previously visited. Concarneau market on a Friday morning and wandering the old town was fun; we had a very happy afternoon on the beach at Benodet; and particularly loved the area and coves (great for rock-pooling and sandcastles!) around Beg Meil where there's an easy to follow and gentle coast path. It's a longer drive from the north Brittany ferry ports where we arrived / departed, but overall this was probably our favourite location of numerous holidays in the region, and certainly the best Gite set-up overall.
An enjoyable holiday
By Angela on 08-Aug-2026Everyone in my family group had an amazing time. The owners were really friendly and greated you on arrival. We had a lovely welcome pack full of goodies which we all enjoyed especially the honey made from their bees. The cottage was full of character, clean and very comfortable. Everything you needed was there. The Grandchildren enjoyed the pool and going on the nature trails on the farm. They even enjoyed feeding the chickens and petting their dog and cat. Pleanty of places to see and do. Enjoyed the bicycle ride on the old railway line. Beaches were amazing and not too far away. Plenty of restaurants/bars to chose from in the local towns. Some lovely fresh bakeries locally for all your fresh bread and cream cakes. Lots of local supermarkets to choose from. A lovely holiday had by all. Erika and Rob made you feel so welcomed. 10/10*
A Beautiful Stay in France ️
By Rachel O on 15-Aug-2026We stayed from 15th to 22nd August and had the most wonderful time! The cottage was beautiful, and having a swimming pool was an amazing bonus. 🏊♀️ Rob and Erika were so friendly and welcoming, and we absolutely loved meeting Sox the cat and Luna the dog — they were both so friendly and adorable! 🐱🐶 I loved every moment of our stay in France; it completely exceeded my expectations. The cottage is also perfectly located, only around 10 minutes from each town, which made exploring so easy. Thank you so much, Rob and Erika, for making our stay so lovely. We would highly recommend staying here. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil chaleureux et pour avoir rendu notre séjour si spécial ✨
Wonderful gîte
By Hyke on 11-Jul-2026We had a wonderful stay at Keranmeriet Gites. The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. When we arrived, our son was ill, and they went out of their way to help us find a local doctor. They even offered to make phone calls on our behalf because our French wasn't good enough. Thankfully, our son recovered quickly after our arrival, and the children were able to fully enjoy the swimming pool, petting the cat and dog, playing in the games barn, and feeding the chickens. The Farmhouse Gîte is spacious, well laid out, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The gîtes are also perfectly located, close to beautiful beaches as well as charming towns and villages. We also loved spending time in the beautiful garden, filled with fruit trees and flowers and we even spotted a deer—it was a joy to explore. We felt at home almost immediately. Thank you so much for the warm welcome, Erika and Rob. We would love to come back!
A bientôt !
