Description
GENERAL INFORMATIONGreat for couples and families alike. In a quiet cul-de-sac, in the charming village of Surzur, the cottage is at the heart of the village within 150 metres of local shops, large Intermarche supermarket and bar and bistro restaurant (Le Priano) . Surzur is only 10 minutes by car from the safe, sandy beaches of this beautiful area of Morbihan, and within easy access of a golf course and many local tourist attractions.. In the village there is a large sports park with tennis courts, skateboarding park, and children’s play area. There is also Aqua-Golfe Park with water-slides, indoor and outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. There is also a separate spa with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room, outside there is a hot tub and sun loungers for sauna guests only.
KITCHEN AND DINING
The kitchen and laundry room arewell equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven with induction hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, beer/wine fridge and many other kitchen gadgets and items. We have 2 large tables one in the kitchen the other in our sunroom. There is also a large garden table, chairs and umbrella on the terrace for all to sit round on warm evenings.
LOUNGE
There is a comfortable lounge, with wood burning stove, TV, DVD and CD player. We have 100's of DVD titles in our holiday collection, and many books, toys and games for all the family. There is a door to the garden.
SUNROOM
Off the kitchen with large patio doors opening onto the terrace is the Sunroom with large dining table and comfortable seating.
TERRACE/COURTYARD
To the rear is a safe, secure, walled terrrace and decked courtyard. There is a large table for al fresco meals, recliner chairs and sun loungers. There is a large Webbers BBQ . For more practical use there is a rotary line for hanging out the washing and a rear gate.
BEDROOMS
There are 3 double bedded rooms, one with a king size bed and en suite toilet and handbasin. The other 2 both have double beds. The 4th room has 2 single beds + cot. The lounge also has a new convertible bed settee.
BATHROOM
We have a large 'double head' shower downstairs with toilet and wash basin.. The main bedroom has an en-suite toilet and wash basin.
HEATING
There is a large wood burning stove in lounge and an electric heater in the kitchen.
ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE FAMILY
In the Lounge we have TV, DVD (with 100's of family titles), CD player, books, toys, jigsaws and games.
Off the Sunroom, there are 2 Game Rooms:
Room 1, downstairs - Pool Table & Dart Board
Room 2, upstairs - Table Tennis Table and kiddies playroom.
PARKING
The road is an impasse so there is no through traffic. There are 4 parking spaces and all residents park outside their houses.
This is a great family property, well equipped for baby and toddler (bath, stairgate etc) and also great for multi generation groups or two families holidaying together.. It is also suitable for single couples or groups of couples.
Beyond the beaches, Morbihan is a great area to explore and the cottage is the ideal location to do both. Just look at our visitors book if you want an idea of things to do in the area!

By The Dubberley Family on 24-Aug-2024We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Surzur and this fun cottage. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it is and the amount of seating choice! It is wonderfully well equipped - down to nerf guns! We found looking at other people's recommendations in this book really helpful. We've explored a new beach every day and hard to come down on a favourite but we love that pretty much which way the wind is blowing you can find some beach somewhere that's sheltered. We've been snorkelling near Arzon, cockle picking at Damgan, skim boarding at sunset at Penvins, sailing at Le Fogeo, surfing at Plouharnel and did the coastal walk between St Gildas to Le GohVelin and around Petit Mont and oysters at Port Navalo. What a fantastic stay
By Erica and family from Cambridge on 23-Aug-2025What a fantastic stay at this amazing home, equipped with everything you would need and more! The children loved playing pool, table tennis ad darts, and the games and DVDs were a big bonus! Everything here is so well thought out, thank you so much! We loved exploring all the local beaches - our favourite was Landrezac - only 15 minutes away with beautiful clear water albeit a little chilly! Further afield is Carnac and the town is stunning and well worth a visit. Also worth mentioning is Chateau de Suscinio which includes a boardwalk to a stunning beach, along with walking route round Medieval Vannes,, which is beautiful. Finally the Aquagolfe in Surzur is a superb place to while away a couple of hours. A faultless trip for a first holiday abroad!
HOME FROM HOME
By R & H on 20-Jun-2026Home from home. We felt as if we had moved house and were sorry to leave! If we could have stayed longer it would have been perfect but sadly others were aware of the cottage's appeal. Maybe next year?
