What an amazing holiday we had at your beautiful property...
By CB on 17-Jul-2026I want to let you know what an amazing holiday we had at your beautiful property. Your attention to detail in providing everything that the holidaymakers could possibly need or want was second to none. The card and welcome pack you left was an extra special touch that started off our special celebrations marking holiday perfectly. Arriving as we did in an unprecedented heatwave your helpful tips on keeping the property as cool as possible and the provision of all the fans was invaluable. We spent a lot of time in the pool and despite the heat managed a couple of games of tennis. We found the upstairs terrace perfect for late night star gazing in beautiful dark skies, spotting plenty of shooting stars. Sadly we found it too hot to take advantage of your bikes or the local water sports or for that matter the walking books I had bought for our trip. That just means we will have to visit again when the temperatures are cooler. Your personal recommendations about local restaurants, markets and places to visit were really helpful although we still have a lot to try - maybe on our next visit. We became frequent visitors to the local community run Belle Vue restaurant and bar. The lunch salads were delicious but we also wandered up for early evening drinks on the terrace there that gives fabulous views over the valley. The setting of your property was perfect for my family. We are from a rural farming background. My brothers enjoyed watching all the agricultural activity and the rest of us just enjoyed the stunning views. I also had some great wine tasting and purchasing at the wine shop in Cajarc. I can't recommend your property enough. I certainly hope to return but maybe when the temperatures are a bit cooler.
Not our first stay at Sul Pech and hopefully not our last
By PP on 10-Jun-2026Not our first stay at Sul Pech and hopefully not our last. As a group of eight cyclists the accommodation and location is perfect. After a hard days ride, the swimming pool and loungers are perfect for recovering and the tennis court and table tennis ensure that everyone’s occupied whilst waiting for the BBQ to fire up. The house is very well equipped with two kitchens, plenty of glassware, crockery, cutlery etc. It was also refreshing to be provided with sufficient dishwasher tablets, clothes washing liquid etc to last at least a week. There are plenty of televisions and games to keep people entertained should it rain. For the sportier types there are now some new Padel courts at Capdenac (40 mins drive) which are excellent, bookable online and provide rackets and balls. The Saturday afternoon market at Cajarc is well worth a visit and for eating out we revisited the excellent ‘Le Cap Ou Pas Cap’ which didn’t disappoint. For the first time we tried ‘Le Nautic’ restaurant - set by the Lot in Cajarc - and were so impressed we went back the next day. All in all, Sul Pech is a great property, in a fantastic location with stunning views.
As a party of 10 we found Sul Pech perfect...
By P&M on 01-Sep-2025As a party of 10 we found villa Sul Pech perfect. It had everything that you could possibly need, even down to a welcome basket. The whole property was very clean. The garden had lots to offer, swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis all of which we used. The scenery was stunning, especially the Chateau Cenevieres when lit up at night. The local Bistrot Belles Vues with views over the river is worth a visit, the staff were very friendly. Lots to do in the local area, we had a great stay.
What a perfect 2 weeks we have just enjoyed at your wonderful property...
By M & S - July/August 2025 on 13-Aug-2025What a perfect 2 weeks we have just enjoyed at your wonderful property - a really comfortable home from home. We could never tire of the stunning views from the dining areas looking out across the gardens and valley beyond to the picturesque Chateau Cenevieres with no other house in sight. Your house, facilities and location were everything and also more than we could have imagined and worked so well for our 3 generations. Perfectly secluded for our grandchildren (and young at heart adults) to make as much noise as they wanted yet close enough to Cajac for all our shopping needs. The house layout was perfect to allow plenty of animated games nights downstairs whilst us elder folk could have some peace and quiet upstairs. More than enough space for all 10 of us to be together or seperately in small groups, We have spent many holidays in various country houses in France but never before come across one so well equipped to cater for all eating, drinking and BBQ requirements plus books, games and TV if needed. The whole pool area was thoroughly utilised day and night and we are all now pool volley ball experts!! Cycling from the house was superb - gently around the River Lot as a group or for me as a keen cyclist up the hills and utilising the numerous off road tracks suggested by Google Maps took me to some breathtaking scenery and small villages. We found plenty of time for table tennis, tennis and cricket but thankfully left a huge amount of local history still to explore for our next visit.
Fabulous!
By Janie on 12-Jul-2025I’m loathe to write a glowing review as it would be fantastic to keep this place a secret, but word is out and, like all the other reviewers, I have only praise for Sul Pech. We had the best family holiday here. I could list all the pluses but it’s already been written about.. suffice to say that this unpretentious place is perfect for a large group..
We all agreed we would like to return to Sul Pech!
By M and L families on 17-Jul-2025We all agreed we would like to return to Sul Pech! We absolutely loved the house and the wonderful facilities - the pool, tennis, and table tennis. We also appreciated the amount of space in the house and garden, ideal for a party of 9 as we were! It was great to have so much space and bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness. We have stayed in a good number of rented holiday houses as a family group in France and Italy and we have never seen a house with so many glasses! As we say in Ireland you must have had great craic altogether! Not only glasses, but lots of crockery and cutlery. Everyone found something to enjoy at Sul Pech. We relaxed around the pool and on the verandas. We had a great table tennis tournament which involved everyone. Great also to have the televisions with the UK channels, and the books. The bikes are a considerable asset to the house - they were used a lot! The Belles Vues bistro up the road was so good especially that we could walk to it. Everyone was so friendly there and we spent many a happy hour with a drink admiring the view. You get the idea - we loved the surroundings and being at Sul Pech! M and L families
