Description
Nestling in the Lot Valley surrounded by limestone cliffs Les Costes is a large comfortable family friendly house with garden and pool in the picturesque village of Calvignac close to the River Lot and all its water activities, and 10km from St-Cirq-Lapopie. A big open plan layout means lots of room for fun and relaxation. Next to the pool is a pool house (cabane) with kitchenette, bbq and pizza oven. The historic towns of Cahors, Figeac and Villefranche-de-Rouergue as well as the Grotte du Pech Merle are within an easy drive. The nearest village with a shop (and castle!) is Cenevieres (3km) and the market town of Cajarc with shops, garage and supermarket is 10km away.The house has a large open plan dining/sitting area with a table seating 12 people, comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. Two double doors lead to the West facing front terrace with outside table and chairs so you can watch the sun setting.
The well-equipped kitchen with two fridge/freezers, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave leads on to the East facing terrace with another outside table so you can enjoy the morning sun.
There are two double bedrooms, a toilet and large bathroom with separate shower and bath on the ground floor. Upstairs are two further double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, two shower rooms and one toilet.
Downstairs in the basement is the laundry with washing machine and games room with pool table and table tennis, a cool place to be in the summer heat.
7 day minimum stay in July and August, 3 day minimum the rest of the year. Sunday changeover day in July and August. Rest of the year any day.

Beau séjour/Wonderful stay

Des chambres spacieuses, suffisement de salles de bain, un jardin magnifique. Le mauvais temps ne nous a malheureusement pas permis de profiter pleinement. Nous retournons avec plaisir pour en profitons. Thank you for a wonderful stay. What a fantastic house for a big group. Very spacious bedrooms and enough bathrooms with a beautiful garden. The poor weather did not unfortunately allow us to fully take advantage of the facilities. We will therefore return with pleasure to make the most of them.

La maison est spacieuse, le jardin très bien entretenu, il y a 2 terrasses (ombre et soleil). Je recommande vivement ! Superb stay Very pleasant stay, full of beautiful villages and beautiful walks around. The house is spacious, the garden very well maintained, there are 2 terraces (shade and sun). Highly recommend!
Maison tout confort/Very comfortable house

Tout est bien pensé : draps et serviettes en quantité, cuisine très bien équipée pour cuisiner facilement. Nous avons aussi beaucoup profité des équipements de loisirs (ping-pong, billard, jeux de société), parfaits pour des moments conviviaux. Nous reviendrons! Very comfortable house Large house, perfectly suited for a group stay, with a baby (bed and changing table much appreciated). Everything is well thought out: sheets and towels in quantity, very well equipped kitchen for easy cooking. We also took great advantage of the leisure facilities (table tennis, billiards, board games), perfect for convivial moments. We will be back!

Nous avons adoré cette belle maison : des grands espaces , une grande cheminée, une cuisine très bien équipée, des belles chambres et plusieurs salles de bain. Tellement que nous y sommes allés deux années en suivant. Merci à Chloé pour son accueil et sa disponibilité et merci aux propriétaires pour notre communication parfaite . Une adresse à recommander sans hésiter.
Parfait/Perfect
By Stephanie on 31-Dec-2025La maison de Calvignac est un haven de paix. Nous l'avons louée pour un Noël en famille. Elle est parfaite pour les grandes familles. Chacun a son espace. Elle est grande, très bien équipée et très accueillante. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Marion. La décoration de Noël avec son sapin était là et aussi un panier gourmant de bienvenue. Le feu de cheminée a animé nos soirées même si la maison est très bien chauffée par un chauffage central. Bien évidemment, nous n'avons pas profité de la piscine mais nous reviendrons. Je recommande. The house of Calvignac is a haven of peace. We rented it for a family Christmas. It is perfect for large families. Everyone has their own space. It is large, very well equipped and very welcoming. We were warmly welcomed by Marion. The Christmas decoration with its tree was there and also a gourmet welcome basket. The fireplace animated our evenings even if the house is very well heated by central heating. Of course, we didn't enjoy the swimming pool but we will be back. I recommend.

La location est confortable, grande ,claire et très bien située. .Les équipements sont très bien prévus. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. We stayed as a family to celebrate some birthdays and visit the region for 4 days. We were very kindly greeted by Chloe. The rental property is comfortable, large, bright and very well situated. The equipment is well planned. We had an excellent holiday.
