Well-equipped villa, which sleeps six (plus a baby cot and high-chair also provided), is set in a secluded front and rear walled garden. Secure parking is available at the front of the property behind locked gates. The villa is situated in a quiet road a short stroll from the centre of Jard-Sur-Mer with its authentic marina, fine sandy beaches, cafes, bars, and restaurants.
High speed fibre broadband and a "free to use" Rolec EVO electric vehicle charging point with a standard European Type 2 socket are included in your rental charges.
Lounge
Comprises dining area and a lounge area with two sofas. There is satellite TV for French and UK TV channels. Bluetooth connection for personal music streaming. A DVD player with a selection of films.
Kitchen
Comprises oven, induction hob, microwave, and other Bosch appliances, including dishwasher and fridge.
Garage
Accessed directly from the kitchen has a chest freezer and washing machine.
Bedrooms
Three double bedrooms; an upper floor bedroom with a double bed and two ground floor bedrooms each with two twin beds. All bedrooms have plenty of storage and hanging space. Duvets and pillows are provided for all beds. Please bring your own linen and towels.
Bathroom
Comprising bath and separate walk-in shower, a separate toilet is located next to the bathroom.
Jard sur Mer
The villa is located right on the Vendee Velo cycle track network, which stretches over 1,000km and allows safe cycling at your own pace throughout the Vendee.

The town’s tourist office can provide details of many activities available including local bike hire, fishing, golf, tennis, and water sports activities including wind surfing, jet skis and boat trips.
Shopping
The town's shops include numerous bakeries, a chocolatier, butchers, fish-shops, fromagerie, wine merchants and pharmacies. There is also a large Super-U which includes a separate fish and seafood store. The town's market, the largest in the area, operates every Monday throughout the year.

Perfect for our week away

Easy to get in and out of, close to the town centre (only 5 mins walk - at kiddie pace- from the top end of town, where you can grab a croissant and coffee and watch the world go by), and only a couple of minutes' drive from a big supermarket that has everything you need. The house itself was perfect for our family of four and, as well as the usual amenities (washing machine, dishwasher etc.) has a few extra items, such as a large BBQ, that make it feel like a home away from home. Communication from the owner is first class, and includes a very comprehensive information pack that we made good use of when choosing restaurants and beaches to visit.

The house was within walking distance to the town and Port which had a variety of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. It was a very short cycle to the Beach.

A great family holiday home in a fantastic location.
By Alison on 04-Jul-2026The house is situated quite centrally in Jard du Mer - 5 minutes walk from the bakery, butchers, and the greengrocers, and 10 minute walk from the local supermarket.. It has an enclosed garden that is private and not overlooked. The house is very clean and tidy and catered for our every need with an excellent cooker, a dishwasher, a whole range of paperbacks and a TV providing English channels. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return another year.
Lovely Place for a week of R&R

Nice to sit in the garden and get some sun, then enjoy the local beaches and markets which aren't a great distance away. A lovely trip and Martin was great at helping us find our way with our practical needs...
