Sleeping up to 15 guests across six spacious bedrooms, the property features two separate wings of accommodation, multiple reception rooms, extensive gardens, a private swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, games areas, and numerous quiet corners to relax and unwind.
Guests return year after year for the atmosphere of the house, warm, welcoming and effortlessly comfortable, yet finished to an unusually high standard throughout. One guest described it as:

The house has recently been further enhanced with an upgraded pool terrace, a second leisure area within the grange, and several additional outdoor relaxation spaces throughout the gardens and orchard.

The house and converted grange have been designed for relaxed, sociable living, with generous high ceilings, cool airy interiors, and plenty of space for guests to gather together or quietly retreat and unwind. Whether travelling as a large family, a group of friends, or a cycling or wellness group, the property offers a rare balance of shared spaces and peaceful privacy.
There is ample room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the house in their own way. Children can spend their days swimming in the pool, exploring the gardens and meadow, painting, playing games, feeding the chickens, or enjoying the many options for hide and seek. Shady corners beneath the trees provide perfect spots for crafts, reading and outdoor play.
Adults often find themselves doing much the same, long relaxed lunches, reading in a hammock, morning walks through the countryside, evening games of boules at sunset, or simply sitting together over good food and wine while the children play nearby. There are many quiet corners throughout the gardens for yoga, painting, reading or simply enjoying the peace and stillness of rural France.
Outdoor living is at the heart of the experience here. The large outdoor kitchen and dining spaces make cooking, entertaining and clearing away wonderfully easy and sociable, allowing guests to stay connected throughout the day and long into warm summer evenings.

We would consider a car essential for shopping, and to experience nearby villages, towns and beaches (which are all beautiful).

Surrounded by a vibrant garden, fragrant lavender, and a charming orchard, the setting is absolutely idyllic. The house itself is warm and welcoming, with lovely soft finishes that create a perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort. The kitchen is very well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the fabulous outdoor kitchen and dining area turned every meal into a memorable experience. It’s a fantastic space for entertaining or simply enjoying relaxed family time. One of the highlights was the wonderful pool — a peaceful, private spot to unwind and cool off. It’s clear the hosts have truly thought of everything. From the layout to the smallest details, this farmhouse is designed with care and attention. Whether you're traveling with family or a group of friends, this is an ideal retreat full of beauty, comfort, and space to breathe. Highly recommended!

Most gorgeous holiday

We went as a family and had the best time, lots of swimming in the pool, badminton in the garden and cooking together. We enjoyed eating outside thanks to the gorgeous outdoor dining table each night. I cannot recommend it enough. The beds were super comfy too! Highly recommend if you want a comfortable, stunning place to stay to properly relax and unwind. Sandi was super helpful too. 5 stars all round! The wildlife we saw too was beautiful and refreshing from what we are use to in London. Lots of sunflower fields near by too!
Well equipped, stylish property. If you like cooking then the kitchen is really well equipped. The garden is spacious and well tended. A real home from home, only with better interior decor!
