Our beautiful home on the Cote d'Azur is located in a natural environment with lovely views and walks through the Valley of the River Brague. The picturesque village of Valbonne is within walking distance and it's just 20 minutes to Cannes, Antibes and the beaches of the coast. This imposing stone Bastide has six air-conditioned bedrooms, to accommodate 12 guests, lawned garden, private heated pool and pool house BBQ.Set within a mature Mediterranean garden of lawns, palm and olive trees, there's a 12x6-metre swimming pool which can be heated and pool-house with BBQ, bar, covered dining and comfy seating area. The property provides accommodation for 12 guests in six spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms and five bathrooms arranged as: three double bedroom suites, a double with adjacent shower room, and an apartment with a large double bedroom with garden access, and a double/twin and shared bathroom. There's a large reception room and very well equipped family kitchen as well as a second living room/tv den. Doors open onto a big terrace with shaded dining table for 12 and lounge area. A stone fountain waters lemon and lime trees and fresh mint - ideal for mojitos or refreshing mint tea in the evening.
The property sits on a hill overlooking the River Brague Natural Park where there are wonderful walks accessed from the property. The pretty medieval village of Valbonne - with its many restaurants, cafes, shops and lively Friday market - is within easy walking distance. It's a 25-minute drive to the beach on the Cap d'Antibes or the gourmet restaurants of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and half an hour from Nice airport.
