This lovely recently renovated, fully air-conditioned APARTMENT occupies the entire ground floor of the villa and includes a spacious ensuite studio at the side of the villa.This property is not suitable for disabled people..
Although an apartment the rental experience is more like renting an entire house in that the first floor of the property is never rented except when the entire villa is rented. The apartment is completely self-contained with its 4 double bedrooms and 3 shower rooms and has EXCLUSIVE use of grounds terraces and HEATED pool.

The villa is only a five-minute walk from the centre of the ancient village of Collobrieres and is set in peaceful wooded grounds and gardens with panoramic views and a full-size lovely pool with motorized safety cover, a play area with swings and ping pong table.
The location is ideal for all kinds of holidays. It is within easy access to BEACHES, the MARINA with excursions and WATER SPORTS, THEME PARKS, CYCLING, excellent GOLF COURSES and KAYAKING for outings whilst the location and terraces of the villa offer a restful and tranqull environment.
THE FIRST FLOOR IS NEVER RENTED SEPARATELY.

The apartment offers 4 FULL SIZED COMFORTABLE AIR-CONDITIONED DOUBLE BEDROOMS consisting of:
One double-bedded bedroom with en-suite shower room and two twin-bedded bedrooms, a further shower room and a separate toilet and a fourth comfortable double bedroom with shower and toilet, TV and air-conditioning in the studio.
All bedrooms have garden / village views with French doors opening onto terraces / garden and are AIR CONDITIONED.
There is also a modern fully-equipped air-conditioned kitchen / living room with French doors opening onto terraces and garden.
Other facilities include a large outdoor BBQ, free WiFi, satellite TVs and DVD player utility area with washing machine and dryer.
There is a weekly housekeeper & pool / gardener. Other domestic and food facilities can be arranged.
All linen towels and beach towels supplied. Cots and high chairs supplied if required.
THE FIRST FLOOR WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE IF RENTING THE ENTIRE VILLA ON REQUEST.
The ENTIRE HOUSE can be available during certain periods by special arrangement. Privacy was not as advertised
By Sal on 25-Jul-2026The property itself is attractive and the pool and location are very good. Unfortunately, the level of privacy we experienced was materially different from what we understood when booking. The Simply Owners listing states that, although an apartment, “the rental experience is more like renting an entire house” and that “the first floor of the property is never rented except when the entire villa is rented.” Before booking, we specifically asked about the upstairs accommodation and were reassured that the property would be completely private. In reality, the owners lived upstairs throughout our stay. There was an internal connecting door between the two areas which did not lock. We could hear conversation and movement upstairs, including noise which woke us during the night. Their accommodation overlooked the pool, their car was regularly parked between the house and pool, and the telephone in our apartment rang when they received calls. They also contacted us by email to ask us not to use the air condition too much and not reduce below 23 degrees. This meant we did not experience the level of privacy we reasonably expected from the listing. Our son is autistic and finds unfamiliar people in close proximity difficult. We explained this to the owners during our stay, but our complaint is fundamentally about the representation of the accommodation and the privacy provided. We raised the issue during the stay and subsequently requested a €1,000 partial refund. The owners refused and described our correspondence as “now bordering on harassment”, despite it consisting of our initial concerns, one post-stay refund request and one follow-up after receiving no response. They have now stated they will accept no further communication. We have therefore asked Simply Owners to review the matter. We would like the owners to reconsider the €1,000 partial refund in light of the difference between the advertised and actual level of privacy.

Thank you for the five stars you awarded our rental for location cleanliness and pool The thrust of your criticism is that the apartment did not suit your son. Accuracy: The advert: it is approved by both the Office de Tourism Inter-communal de La Londe after they inspected in person and Simply Owners. The site clearly states that the property is not suitable for disabled people. Never did you advise us that your son suffers from autism nor of your special requirements before you booked the apartment. We only knew of your issues after four days of occupancy. Contrary to your statement we did not discuss the first floor of the Villa. As we state it is never rented separately. We mention that the gardens terrace pool and play area are for the exclusive use of guests We take pride in the privacy offered by the apartment. Your comments represent a very inaccurate view of the experience of being in the apartment which contradicts our many compliments. Specifices: The pool view: -see the aerial shot on the site. The separation door on the stairs: It is barred, padded with insulating material so no access to the groundfloor.from the first floor. General privacy: Cleaners and gardeners advised beforehand by email or text. No visits from owners without prior request. Noise: Sound Insulated - underfloor heating provides extra sound insulation. Communication: the face-to-face contact we had was with your wife and daughter who expressed how lovely they found the location. We find your need to write a detrimental unkind and unwarranted review shocking. We assume by doing so you try to position yourself as able to justify a demand for money. All of this is based upon your issue that the rental you chose could not accommodate your son’s disability of which we were never notified. We have discussed this situation with the Simply Owners. They state they cannot become involved in any discussion whether financial or literary regarding the review .All info supplied
Relaxing holiday close to pretty typically French Village
By Gill on 08-Aug-2026We had a lovely stay in the property with the fabulous pool, and lovely outdoor seating areas. The local village is pretty and sells great ice cream. Some lovely walks in the hills near the ruins, worth a look. We were greatful for the air con which was very welcome. You do need a car to get anywhere. About 30/35 mins to local beach, which again is well worth a visit. The house is up a steep hill.
A great place to stay

Les Chenes Sessiles The place matches the description, we appreciated the swimming pool and the air conditioning in all the rooms especially during this time of heatwave. The kitchen is well equipped. We also appreciated the bath and beach towels, as well as the baby cot and high chair. It is a great place to stay with family and kids. The city center is walkable, there are many hikes, and we are not very far from the beaches and coast.
Nice two weeks with family and friends

Very close to the lovely and authentic village Collobrières. Valentijn and Barbara were very friendly and kind hosts and we can highly recomment to stay there. The kids (but not only them) loved the very big pool!

By Lee Reynolds on 14-Jun-2025Lovely property in a beautiful location, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was great, it was well equipped with utensils and cookware. Large swimming pool with plenty of loungers and lots of outdoor space for relaxing away from the pool. The local village, Collobrières, was only a short walk away with more than enough shops and restaurants. We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Valentijn and Barbara were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and all your help leading up to and during our stay. Would highly recommend.
Trail des maures
By Virginie on 08-May-2025Nous étions un groupe à courir le trail des maures à Collobrieres. Cette maison a plu à chacun de nous. En effet, nous avions suffisamment d'espace, la maison était très propre et très bien décorée. Elle était aussi bien équipée pour cuisiner. La piscine a été un + pour se détendre. Valentin s'est montré disponible et nous le remercions.Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location.
