Nestling in the Lot Valley surrounded by limestone cliffs Les Costes is a large comfortable family friendly house with garden and pool in the picturesque village of Calvignac close to the River Lot and all its water activities, and 10km from St-Cirq-Lapopie. A big open plan layout means lots of room for fun and relaxation. Next to the pool is a pool house (cabane) with kitchenette, bbq and pizza oven. The historic towns of Cahors, Figeac and Villefranche-de-Rouergue as well as the Grotte du Pech Merle are within an easy drive. The nearest village with a shop (and castle!) is Cenevieres (3km) and the market town of Cajarc with shops, garage and supermarket is 10km away.
The house has a large open plan dining/sitting area with a table seating 12 people, comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. Two double doors lead to the West facing front terrace with outside table and chairs so you can watch the sun setting.
The well-equipped kitchen with two fridge/freezers, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave leads on to the East facing terrace with another outside table so you can enjoy the morning sun.
There are two double bedrooms, a toilet and large bathroom with separate shower and bath on the ground floor. Upstairs are two further double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, two shower rooms and one toilet.
Downstairs in the basement is the laundry with washing machine and games room with pool table, a cool place to be in the summer heat.
7 day minimum stay in July and August, 4 minimum the rest of the year. Friday changeover day in July and Sunday in August. Rest of the year any day.
