This charming XIX-century logis was initially built as a gentleman's residence and vineyard, later becoming a working farm before being sympathetically restored. Approached through grand entrance gates at the end of a private 100-year-old chestnut-lined driveway, providing ample shaded parking, the main farmhouse and La Conciergerie overlook the pretty circular courtyard, with its centre the fountains. Renovated in 2017, the Conciergerie (The Lodge) offers a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, featuring exposed beams, a dining area, an oven, a gas hob, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, and a microwave. The comfortably furnished sitting room also has exposed beams and an open fireplace with a log burner. There is a door leading to a ground-floor bedroom with twin beds. Upstairs, two further bedrooms await you, each with double beds—a good-sized family shower room with wash hand basin and WC and a second spacious bathroom.

Fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace and TV/internet. There is one bedroom on the ground floor with twin beds. On the first floor, you'll find two more bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms. The exterior features a BBQ and outdoor furniture, perfect for an evening apéro.

"La Conciergerie", the former Caretaker's Lodge of this beautifully restored 18th-century traditional Charentaise Logis, is set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens with several activities on offer and TWO swimming pools.
Logis de Lussais was built in the early 19th century as a gentleman's residence, including a manor house and a private vineyard. It later became a working farm. It has since been restored to provide holiday accommodation. The Logis is approached along a private, tree-lined avenue, with ample shaded parking, and through grand entrance gates into a fountain courtyard. The farmhouse and four holiday cottages surround the central courtyard, each with private gardens overlooking the fountain. The four cottages share a secured 10 x 5m swimming pool and a second heated swimming pool 8 x 4m. Both swimming pools overlook the south-facing gardens, which include boules, badminton, short tennis, and swings. In the Grange, an open barn and a shared games room include table tennis, a pool table, and bar football. All racquets and game equipment are provided. The pool complex has a pool house with a WC and solar shower. The pool is open from mid-May to September, depending on the weather and temperature.
Wi-Fi Internet access is available on-site, free of charge.

Your accommodation will be ready from 17:00 hr for check-in. On the day of departure, you are required to leave before 10:00 hrs

•Baby equipment (travel cot, highchair, baby bath and stair gates available with prior notice and must be reserved in advance of your arrival)
•Extra folding bed (must be reserved)
•Please bring your pool towels as these are not supplied. (Swimming pools are closed from October to May)
•Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, and smoking is prohibited in the Gîte.
•WIFI is accessible in all our Gîtes; however, the Internet service in our area may be intermittent at times and not always efficient
•The mobile phone signal is generally good in our area
•We have two supermarkets in Chef Boutonne, open Monday to Saturday from 10:00hrs to 20:00hrs and Sunday morning, where you will find a wide selection of food and drink items and charcoal for the BBQ. We also have a pharmacy, restaurants, bars and a Saturday morning market, etc. (1.5km from our doorstep) in Chef Boutonne
•There are many footpaths and sightseeing opportunities within the immediate area to explore
