Portscatho is a pretty harbour village with shops, galleries, cafes and pubs. Porthcurnick beach is perfect for swimming, rock pooling, paddle boarding ,kayaking and sailing, the coast path is full of coves to explore or fish from, Pendower, Carne, Caerhayes and Towan beaches are also close by.
Visit the Roseland villages with Roundhouses in Veryan and Philleigh, the pretty harbours of Portloe and Portholland, Melinssey Mill cafe a tranquil hideaway, famous St Just in Roseland Church with it’s beautiful garden, and just a 10 minute drive away the famous sailing harbour of St. Mawes.
From St. Mawes take a ferry to either Falmouth and visit Pendennis castle and the Maritime Museum, Trelissick garden or the cathedral city of Truro with, museum, cinema and great shops. Hire boats, kayaks, paddle boards and take great fishing trips as well as enjoy the other amenities. Visit St. Mawes castle and Lamorran gardens and enjoy the views over Carrick Roads and Falmouth. Heligan garden and Eden Project are close by and the North coast is only 40 minutes away for surfing and more exploring. Portscatho is your homeaway from home.
